We'll have to wait and see if that is "is" or "was". Selfishly, I hope it's was ;-)

Not saying he wont help but to say he will make them contend isnt written in stone.

So, the Bobcats winning a championship is all we should fear?

Lets say he makes them good enough to not win a championship but they sweep our season series. It all doesn't matter if they don't win a championship?

LOL - I don't think the 'Cats will win a championsihp under Brown, but our road to divisional crowns just got more difficult.

I think that with the Knicks the biggest problem he had was with Thomas who kept on stirring the pot interfering with the coach and then bringing in players who don't work together or anyone else.
Thomas may have been a great player, but as a basketball exec he was one of the worse.
Jordan isn't one the better ones either, though he apparently is not going to tell this coach how to do his job once he is in.
Larry Brown can bring this team together and then look out everyone this team without injuries would be a team that could cause trouble for other teams and yes finally make the playoffs next year.

The Cats have 50 win talent with the right coaches. The biggest thing that surprises me is that there so bad defensively. Brown will fix that. No reason a team with those kind of athletes is not a top 5 defense. Sam Vincent was the worst coach in the league. Funny I remember a few hoping he would be our head coach.
