Paul Pierce vs. Hedo Turkoglu vs. Carmelo Anthony
In a tie game with under 2 minutes to go in the fourth quarter, who do you trust the most with the ball in their hands? Thought of in another manner, out of the following players who is the best "closer"?
A. Paul Pierce
B. Hedo Turkoglu
C. Carmelo Anthony
A. Paul Pierce
B. Hedo Turkoglu
C. Carmelo Anthony

You're a Magics fan, so I expect your view to be biased toward Hedo.. But he's not in the same league clutch wise as Pierce is.. I've seen Pierce pull off some ridiculous clutch shots and buzzer beaters over the course of his career..

In all seriousness it scares me to see people listing Carmelo Anthony and Hedo Turkoglu over Paul Pierce. Some of the replies in here are awfully inaccurate.
1st off, it's Paul Pierce easily!

He's one of the game's best clutch players, and outside of this season [due to their large success] he has been a consistent leader in ppg in the 4th quarter. He has been making clutch baskets his entire career.
Hell, he led his team to the Conferene Finals, and in game 3 against the Nets he led them to the greatest comeback in NBA playoff history, after trailing by 24pts entering the final quarter and then scoring 19pts in the last period to give them the win [see link].
When?? Which game?
You just made that up. Yes he is. To add, you don't see him being "clutch" because all of the Boston Celtic games are 10+pt wins [their average win margin].
I don't think because his team is more successful and plays less close games than his counter-parts in this poll Paul Pierce should be discredited and valued a lesser clutch player. He has proven to be throughout his entire career.
1. Paul Pierce
