I'll agree with that statement.
LA/DEN - LA won in 4. Expected a closer series than that between two offensive juggernauts.
SA/PHO - SA up 3-1. Should really be closer. It has been close. PHO just couldn't close out Game 1, which will hurt them in the end I think.
NO/DAL - NO won 4-1. Boring series. Expected this one to be much closer. Hornets played the better ball. Mavs didn't offer much.
UTA/HOU - UTA up 3-1. Close series. Best of the lot. Ugly to watch you could say though.
To the East:
BOS/ATL - Tied 2-2. Should've been over by now, but we've seen Josh Smith dunking on the Cs, KG and Pierce rattled, and Boston struggling a bit.
DET/PHI - DET leads 3-2. Shouldn't have gone more than 5, PHI have been ultra-competitive.
ORL/TOR - ORL won 4-1. Close Game 2. Good mannered series, better team won.
CLE/WAS - CLE leads 3-1. Blowouts, big turnarounds, game-winning shots. LeBron with a big throwdown.
Second round should make up for it.

LoL eastern fans
Phoenix considered one of the worst teams in the western conf. will lose their coach, many players, but they still tore up the eastern conference something like 20-3.
Eastern conference basketball = for the most part the worst run basketball in the history of the sport over the last 5 years. 1 team possibly 2 actually play each year. The rest cash it in at the draft.

Regular season basketball is different than playoff basketball.

I called it as well. People were too caught up with records, but failed to realize that matchups are half the excitement.
SA/Dallas
Lakers/Phoenix
Utah/NO
Denver/Houston
would be much better.
Though it's not like the East playoffs are exciting. It's just that the playoffs this season is just not that great overall.

Besides the Houston and Rockets series, all the other series have been pretty stale. On the other hand, the East has been jammed pack with action. Even the Orlando/Toronto series had its moments.
Very exciting to watch T Mac play with himself.
