Anyways, congrats to the Hornets. They are my second favorite team in the WC playoffs.

Dallas needs Jermaine O'neal. If they can somehow get JO and T-Mac....

Chris Paul goes 24 points on 10-19, and 2-3 from down town, 11 rebounds, 15 assists, 2 steals, 0 turnovers. Quite a way to seal the series.

How about Peja "choking" his way to 17-28 shooting from 3?

CP3 with two rebounds in the final ~5 seconds or so to seal the triple-double.

Here's hoping the Suns can drag out a couple more games with the Spurs.

Arrgh... Dallas :nonono: I'll admit I didn't believe Dallas would go down, and definitely not like this.

Impressive job by Hornets. You guys definitely belong. Well done.

Good luck, keep it up.

Congrats to the Hornets and the NO fans.

Another year of disappointment by Dallas. I really felt NO was the better matchup over Los Angeles. How Dallas played it would have meant first round exit no matter who they played during the first round.

Management really needs to look over the team and find away to acquire some players that will really put this team over the hump. Josh Howard and the bench didn't show up for majority of the series.

A crime that a team as good as Dallas goes out 1st round...although nobody can say the Hawks don't belong in the playoffs anymore.

Great game, nice job by Paul and West hitting their shots today.

Also another good shooting game by Pargo, outside of the 1-9 in game one, his shot has been on. That scares me a little though, because the law of averages might come and bite him some time, and I don't know how long this can keep going on, but let's just hope it stays around during the Spurs series lol. In January and February he was on, and that was for 20+ games, so if he can have a streak that long (or as long as the Hornets are in the playoffs) it will be good

Did they keep the other threads, or delete them? I'd like to hear from those who said Dallas had more playoff experience and read their thoughts.

Anyway, Stackhouse is a joke. STFU and stop talking unless you back it up with some kind of semblance of production and contribution. Bass was the only player I saw giving it 100% and trying to bring some energy and hustle and a no-nonsense presence. Dirk was good, but he flops way to much, and really is soft.

West had a good game, and can you imagine this hornet team if they had this Bass and not the player they had?

CP joins Lebron and Steve Francis as the only players in the last twenty years to get a TD in their playoff debut series.

Pargo continues to impress, and it's because he put in the extra time. He needs to bring it against the spurs too, and Bonzi better show up as well.

Great win for New Orleans. As a Spurs fan, I was pulling for this team. I knew that this team would take out Dallas. Chris Paul is the best PG in the NBA. This should be an exciting series between San Antonio and New Orleans.

Congrats to NO for the win. Just plain whipped us, and made us look bad in the process.

There is much to be decided in Dallas this off-season. Very disappointing to see where the team is right now, considering the potential they showed the past few years. I really thought they were building towards a championship caliber team. Personally, I think the trip to the finals in '06 was premature (the rest of the West was just a bit off that year), and gave the organization too much confidence in the way the team was built. It affected the sort of players they acquired in a bad way. Now we've got a roster full of players that don't really fit together, and little leverage to do anything about it.

Well, back to the drawing board. :(
