We executed better...

They couldn't make FT's... now a significant weakness, they turned the ball over, and they didn't have three point shooting....

Yes

Yes

YES!

Great game! Both teams played well, ultimately - the Spurs just played some better. :)

Fun series

So good that we didn't blow this oppurtunity, especially in not just coming up short.

SMRattler wrote:The good news here is that the reasons the Suns won (Game 4) were really simple:

1) Turnovers/Fast-breaks: we had twice as many TO's as they did I think and that leads to easy points they get on the other end a lot of times. We are usually good at those things, taking care of the ball and transition D.

2) 3-point game-within-the-game: Another area we are usually good at, protecting the 3-point line and winning that +/- part of the game. They were a +15pts in game 4 behind the arc. We never, ever give up 3 pointers and fast break points to anyone in the playoffs....

Of course, you lose in the playoffs and you know what's next. Fishing...

I have no doubt given Roy's development and Oden...

Question pour les francais: What's Tony Parker saying? 2.0
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hbb1glZFz2s
Previously, we heard Tony Parker say in a TNT post-game interview: "Tu me manque, mon amour. Tu me manque." Now Parker busts out another amorous French phrase.

Good game, good series, congrats. Too many mistakes down the stretch, and we shouldn't and can't expect to win when we did it that many times.
Again, congrats.

I love how Amare got out of rhythm because of Diaw, possible foul worry, and our defense,

Inoticed at times in this series, Amare did play some solid defense... specifically on Duncan 3-4 times

Continues to be an inconsistent rebounder, and tonight didn't get any rebounds after some point for a number of minutes.. stopping at 11

Amare was STOPPED tonight, 10 pts below his series average

It comes from a sad moment for me, but congrats to the Spurs. Your team played its heart out and knew how to step it up. Even so it was only 5 games, there have been plenty of nail biting moments, with some great bball being played.
As a Suns fan, I hope my team comes back with D'Antoni intact to play you guys again in the playoffs. These matchups are great!

Congrats and good luck in the next round!!

I think it was idiotic that they kept going to Diaw. You give the ball to Amare. He never got into the flow of the game... Coach D thought he had something in a meaningless game 4...

Return to San Antonio Spurs
