"There can only be one" campaign is lame
I don't see why the NBA is hyping how great its own ad campaign is. They really suck at this department. The "Where amazing happens" was dumb and corny, and so is this "There can only be one". I don't understand how the NBA can be so crappy at this.
Look at the NFL. They got some great commercials. They have some sentimental ones (a couple of years ago, there was a Christmas commercial where it showed a Steeler catching a TD and giving it to a fan in the crowd), they can make funny ones (the time to get your story straight ones and I remember the "tomorrow" one during one super Bowl), and all sorts of other great commercials (Sunday's strictly business).
I know NBA is capable of making good campaign. Remember a few years ago when they had those awe-inspiring commercials followed by some sort of poem or quote?
I distinctly remember one making even Vince Carter look inspiring as he slashes his way to the basket followed by..
"Do not go where the path may lead, go instead where there is no path and LEAVE a TRAIL."
NBA frustrates me sometimes with its lameness.

he says Jordan simultiously as KG says Bird.
But still confusing as Lebron turned 9 on December 30, 1993. The season the Rockets won it all not the Bulls.
and KG turned 9 on May 19, 1985, the season the Lakers won it all.

i really have liked ALL the NBA commercials made the past two years. different ppl different tastes i guess, but i liked the quote ones from last year, the where amazing happens, the david blaine ones, the ali g ones, these recent ones. i think they're doing a great job. THe Ali G ones were best though
