There's a player named "CASH" I think we are looking at with the 15th pick.

The EXTREME scenario:
We still have our own 2009 pick.
The quickest way to get out of this hole is to tank next year. And tank it HARD. Stockpile lottery picks, tank, and create as much cap space as possible over the next two offseasons. That's the best chance for the Suns to make a speedy recovery.
Trade Nash for expiring contracts and picks. Send Amare out for some young talents or expiring and picks. Heck, let's try Amare for Marion's expiring and get one of the Heat's own draft pick. Use the cap space created by Shaq after the 2009-2010 season to land a decent free agent, or trade Shaq to someone looking for a lot of expiring contracts during the 2009-2010 season.

2008/2009 is our last year to win a championship. Don't fire anyone, don't trade anyone unless we get maximum profit on the deal.
D'Antoni and Nash must change their identities... Nash must evolve into a John Stockton type point guard minus his defense cause we know Nash can't guard. He must tone down his helter skelter type play and become more reserved.
D'Antoni has to change his coaching style and practises, he must be strict and worry about defense.
I dunno if we can fire D'Antoni because I dunno if he will gel with this group like D'Ant has. We have 4 years under D'Ant and his player-coach relationship is priceless.
Also we need to pick up some players who can relieve minutes for our grandpas (bell, nash, shaq, hill) it'd be optimal if those guys averaged 28 ~ 31 minutes a game. Shaq maybe even just 25 minutes. Our regular season goal must not be to destroy the season and win 60 points but to make it into the playoffs fresh, healthy and up to our potential... we must'nt kill ourselves to win a game.

Those guys won't change a thing. Give it up.
Maybe Mike if he stays he will learn something.
Here's what I think will happen:
Everyone stays. We drafted an exciting rookie, and then trade him for cash. Sign some minimum players to fill the roster. And we keep Mike on the bench, and we keep playing exciting basketball, watching Shaq sprinting down the court, Amare doing push ups, LB racing down the court for a thunderous layup...we'll keep fans on their seat, selling as many O'Neal's jersey as possible, and be entertaining and competitive. And then hopefully we'll make the playoffs. If we get bounce in the 1st round, so be it. At least we're entertaining.

Only one player I can think of that might be available @ #15 that fills this criteria.
Does Amare fit that?

Dangit.
Backup point
Athletic shooting guard/small forward who can defend
Offensive big who can body up
Ridnour
Ross
Villanueva
Sweeeeeet - none would be that expensive/tough to get I don't think
Shaq/Amare/Skinner
Amare/Villanueva
Diaw/Hill/Ross
Bell/Barbosa/Ross
Nash/Ridnour/DJ
Done.
Grab a rookie with some potential at #15 that can/will be developed
