Yeah, I was glad to see Mike get going pretty well, played a balanced offensive game, and Smith and Horford were just great... very cool stuff for the Hawks and their fans

I loved the way the Hawks played tonight but I also noticed Pierce and KG act like biatches. Moreso than they used to. That really annoys the crap out of me.

Excellent game by Phoenix today, they needed that

I still thought there might be one of those blow-out loss games by the Spurs, and if it was any game it would of been this one or G3

I don't think Raja Bell's going to play like he did again, and as well as Diaw played also, he's still an unpredictable player with his form

Elimination for another game now :)

76ers controlling G4 so far

I've been on about them almost the whole season, really like what they've done post-Iverson, and what they've become as a team since January. They don't have a lot offensive talent, but they play tough on both ends of the court, especially defensively, and are very athletic. Very fun team to watch. Thaddeus Young is an underrated, overlooked player, Lou Williams has come on very well within the last year, and Dalembert has really refined his overall game in the last year. Of course Iguodala immediately blossomed (as expected) with Iverson being gone.

They're on their way to going up 3-1 on Detroit, and having the favorability to upset them. I would love to see that.

As a basketball fan, that'd be a mixed situation because I really want to see Boston/Detroit, also.

Detroit really controlling things now, thought they'd get going sometime

And this is one of the times where the T is beneficial to Rasheed and the rest of the team

Josh Smith has definitely shown (again) he's more than just an athlete, shotblocker, rebounder

Fun, good games by him

Yeah somebody tell Atlanta that getting into the first round and getting booted doesn't help a franchise.

Great win by Atlanta

Joe Johnson was absolutely amazing, and Josh Smith was excellent in support... Childress (I love his rebounding), Horford, Bibby also had key games

How about the irony here - 2-2 series heading back to Boston, I love it.

Complete turn-around in quality of this series

Oh yeah! What a great game by the Suns/Spurs

Fun series, too

Both teams played strong, but ultimately the Spurs played some better

Enough overall exeuction by the Spurs in the 4th qtr, and specifically, excellent defense!

Tony Parker just played incredible again, Tim Duncan played a strong game, and Kurt Thomas, Ginobili, Horry all chipped in with their significant contributions.

Definitely key that the Spurs ended it tonight, not blowing an oppurtunity, and especially in just short fashion it would of been, if they had lost.

Ultimately the Suns flaws showed up again, better in their inconsistent defense from last year, but still have to address that. Still have to get better on the bench, and improve in their versatility offensively.

I love how Amare got out of rhythm because of going to Diaw too much, possible foul worry, and the Spurs defense,

I did notice at times in this series, Amare played some solid defense... specifically on Duncan 3-4 times. Still, the majority is he's not a solid defender.

Continues to be an inconsistent, non-stand-out rebounder, and tonight didn't get any rebounds after some point for a number of minutes.. stopping at 11

Amare was STOPPED tonight, 10 pts below his series average

Nash also didn't play a usual type of game again, to a lesser degree, but was also related to Diaw getting a lot of touches, and the Spurs defense. Fouls not being as much of a factor for him.

I must say this series turned out quite different than most thought, including myself. Fine by me :).

I honestly haven't seen a choke job like that since our 02 Kings. I mean the Spurs played great and all, but the Suns lost that game more than the Spurs won.

Well, the Spurs defense does deserve significant credit for the Suns offensive issues late

I'm not sure how much of it was on the Suns themselves, but I'd say there was occasions where they messed up (Diaw throwing it out of bounds, bunch of non-Shaq missed FTs),.. I was focused more on the Spurs defense, so I'll see anything more when I watch the game again soon

Got to say, another seriously tough exit for the Suns

I feel for them somewhat, and the Suns have to get better in more than one of their weaker areas this off-season... that shouldn't be hard to do with the right moves.

JVG or Carlisle or Avery time for Phoenix...

I thought it would probably happen, with knowing the Suns wouldn't make the finals again, and then with how the Spurs series turned out...

Ultimately for the best... he had his short-comings that ultimately played a part on the team, but still had a quality run, bringing along a good and very fun team, and one of the most intriguing teams of all time.

Avery Johnson is paying the price of his FO incompetency, he was supposed to maintain a contender team after a trade that broke the old scheme of the team, why would you trade for Jason Kidd?
D'Anthoni had it coming though.

You think they can make the right moves? To be honest I thought the Shaq trade killed all their flexibility but I dunno.

Eh, coaches are scapegoats WAY to often in the NBA. It's pretty pathetic and it will stay that way until the league gets rid of 'guarateed' contracts.
