Got to say, another seriously tough exit for the Suns

I feel for you guys somewhat, and the Suns have to get better in more than one of their weaker areas this off-season... that shouldn't be hard to do with the right moves.

I don't believe in karma either. Replace Karma with "you look like 10x the ass if you make outrageous, but tenuous claims now but end up being wrong in the end"

I mean if you are gonna slag the Suns fans heavy you better hope your team goes all the way. Did you see that post. It was a whole diatribe of hate that had been built up.

that doesn't make any sense..

I talked about the Suns PAST, and how they've never won anything..my team HAS won championships..my team has even beat the Suns on the road to some of those titles..my team just put the nail in the Suns coffin for their current core..if the Spurs get swept by NO in the 2nd round, it doesn't change anything..you can't erase 4 titles in this decade, and 1 last year..

chubbychaser- I said if my team played the way they were playing in the REGULAR SEASON, they wouldn't do anything..they aren't playing like that all..

The better team. That's all there's to it. The Suns lack defense and mental toughness down the stretch. There's a reason the Spurs have 4 titles in past 9 years and the Suns 0... Not even a finals appearance.

Lol, nice you like the past but I was talking about the future. Just saying you got a little carried away in saying that people like the suns just because they are entertaining, and you implied the Suns would always be losers. No matter how many times they lose Suns fans will keep coming back, and its hard to believe that with the chances they get they won't finally get that elusive title.

I was just saying that you shouldn't be so contemptful to the hate you see levied on the Spurs. If people hate your team, its because they are damn good...nothing more.

ok, I'll apologize for my comments..after reading the Suns board, most of them seem to be accepting defeat and blame their own team, instead of making **** up..there's always the few that stand out with their ridiculous comments, but I'll let it slide..

damn, how the attitude changes from pre-series until now..

where's seattlesun at btw? I haven't seen him post on the GB since like game 1..scared?..

The whole Shaq trade confused me...since when has Shaq *ever* been able to guard Duncan in the playoffs?

Even when Shaq's LA squad eliminated the Spurs back in 02, TD still averaged something like 24 & 11 for that series. 04 was the same, Duncan had maybe 1 game where he wasn't putting up something like 20 & 11 or 21 & 21. And Shaq's not nearly the same player he was back in LA.

Reminds me of how Gerald Wilkins kept getting minutes around the league because he was the "Jordan Stopper"...except he never actually slowed down Jordan.

You fell for it again, too. Understandable, but the Spurs have coasted quite a bit for the last 3-4 years now in the regular season. More this season than any.

HH37 wrote:so I bet 500$ on the Suns winning the series, just like I did last year..the only time I've ever actually won money in the playoffs when I bet against the Spurs was the Mavs in 2006..

I do it so I can have something positive in case my team loses..I'm definitely willing to pay to see my team advance..

Hehe, yes!

^^ How was I supposed to know D'Antoni was going to start a less than 100% Hill, or Start a 6'3 SG in his place, or go lax on Shaq with his posting up to high in the key, thereby shooting 4 foot hookers that usually bounce out?

It's not really a knock on you in intent, just something that deserves recognition because of the nature of what was said. Being interesting to look back at certain claims, statements that were made pre-series.

As far as your question, well, you weren't. I chalk it up to variables that were there and the Spurs defense (where it relates).
