Damon has had more impact in those 14 seconds than Stevenson has in his career. Or am I forgetting the time Stevenson won a series for his team.

In two years it will be "Damon who?" and "Deshawn, you know the knucklehead who said all that trash about Lebron". I can't believe we debated the two  , go 'head and keep debating Lebron, who if nothing else will be a legend.

"The league never released a memo to the media and before now it hadn't been reported, but I was just informed today that LeBron James was actually assessed a retroactive flagrant foul for the elbow he used to clock Andray Blatche in the chin in the first quarter of Game 1.

James popped Blatche as retaliation for a non-call earlier in the game, when James drove to the basket and Blatche hit him in the mouth. James rolled around on the ground after the hit. The next time they ran into each other, Blatche fouled James and as James lifted his arms to separate himself from Blatche, he added an extra blow to the chin."
http://blog.washingtonpost.com/wizardsi....html#more

Hmmm, now why wouldn't the league release that to the media?

To all the Lebron scrotum huggers, I appreciate his skill level and think he is as good as MJ at the same age.

That said, I don't like his whining ways. Him talking about the Wizards, a pretty soft team, trying to "hurt him" is sickening. I wish Washington still had Jahidi White. Kobe broke his hand one preseason game trying to dunk on Jahidi. Then Lebron would have a claim.

The post above points out why I can't stand the media or casual Lebron James fans.

Sure, he's great and Stevenson's very wrong calling him overrated. The guy outplays, outworks, and outthinks anybody on the Wizards IMO. OTOH Lebron's s wuss and an arrogant one at that. Lebron talked about Stevenson FIRST. Lebron threw a DELIBERATE ELBOW THAT SHOULD HAVE WARRANTED A SUSPENSION. But he's PROTECTED by the league.

He gets free throws after time expires to beat Philly in the regular season. That helped secure homecourt advantage.

Some games against the Wizards, he travels three or four times and it's not called. I've seen a Youtube clip where he got 4 steps and a continuation foul. He routinely carries the ball and that's not called either.

I hate that the guy gets to cheat and still bitches and whines.

FOR THAT REASON he's no MJ. MJ was a man who didn't have a sense of entitlement like "LeTravel" does. Lebron can really play the game and he's got a physique MJ would have liked to have. HOWEVER, to hear a 260 lb freight train of a man complaining about Wizards fouls ...

Come on.

I wish the Wizards had the smarts, heart, and ability to send the Cavs home because I can't stand Lebron and I really hate the media that ride his jock.
Tre Johnson is the future of the Wizards.

Theres no time to report such things when Brenda Haywood and Soulja Boy Stevenson cant keep their mouths shut.

Seriously Brenda...are you honestly trying to act tough. The guy seems like a likely candidate for being the next John Amaechi if you ask me.

LeBron didnt get those FT's vs. Philly...Devin Brown did.

If LeBron should have been suspended for his elbow, then Brenda Haywood should have been suspended 2 games for his push in mid air (possibly the most dangerous thing you can do on a b-ball court) and Soulja Boy Stevenson should get a game for hitting him in the head.

LeBron is right to complain for 2 reasons...
1. They have tried to hurt him (Brenda's pussy shove foul)
2. The refs will be quicker to blow their whistles

Nice to be sending the Wizards home 3 years in a row. Just think if the Cavs had another star or some athletic complementary players...you guys would get waxed every game.

I look forward to the games against Washington in the regular season next year...thats when Soulja Boy and Brenda will get what they have coming. For now...the Cavs are off to bigger and more important things, so the retaliation will be put off til next year.

I think most of their fans as well as most of the Wizards team is so busy hatin' on LBJ and the Cavs they can't see straight. No wonder they can't win. Every time you think some have a little bit of sense they make an idiotic post like CCJ.

Ever see how many times MJ cleared out with his left hand as he drove then stepped back? Has anyone ever worked the refs the MJ did? Ever watch the Pistons complain on every call against them? Ever see how your boy GA flops when he drives and initiates contact? Take off your Wiz colored glasses and see what's really out there. No wonder you guys aren't taken seriously.

 ^that's the truth right there. I never knew how much hate Lebron was getting until about a year ago when I found this site. It's ridiculous, the kid can average numbers far and away better than everyone else and yet his ability is still in question. He's not MJ, never will be. But his impact nearly puts him in his class at merely 23 years old. Of course comparsions will come up, when in the history of the league have there not been comparisons? Seems like some people here started watching basketball last week.

Some games against the Wizards, he travels three or four times and it's not called. I've seen a Youtube clip where he got 4 steps and a continuation foul. He routinely carries the ball and that's not called either.

In the 90's the MJ haters always claimed he traveled too. And he did sometimes, plenty of stars get away with calls. Mj won a ring off an offensive foul...but it made top spot on an espn sports moments countdown. How many times did we witness Shaq clearing out an opposing center with his spin move/elbow? What about D-"can't touch this" Wade in the finals?

On topic- Looks like this one will be over by bedtime(but you never know due to cleveland's inconsistant support cast), and the Wiz can go home and plan next year. And Stevenson will be forgoten until the next time they play the Cavs.

It's actually funny.

If the Wiz focused on playing their style of ball, pushing the tempo and stayed away from the media circus and attempts to "hard foul" Lebron, they could have won the series.

Lebron stops himself from driving alot of times by settling for jumpers. By fouling him hard and talking smack your only motivating him to attack more aggressively.

The other thing that's dumb is trapping him all over the floor all game. I'd let Lebron get his pts early on and then come 4th qtr start doubling. Under pressure the only guy I'd really worry about in that case is Gibson, the rest of the Cavs need to get in the flow early to be effective.

The trick to beating the trap Lebron scheme is for him to play off ball, run a few screens, recieve the ball on the move. This worked well whenever they went to it.(which was not enough imo)

Yep but Mike Brown RARELY does it.

Normally the Cavs will just pound the pick and roll to death regardless of how it's being trapped. Partially because Lebron loves the play, but your right in game 2 that's exactly what the Cavs did down the stretch.

Allow me to come up with some non-Lebron hating Cleveland observations:

1. Big Z is under rated.
2. Joe Smith is an extremely solid, crafty vet who is giving Jamison problems.
3. Gibson plays his best ball in the clutch which is a great attribute to have.
4. Mike Brown has officially out coached someone.

It's going to be interesting to see who carries Lebron in the clutch tonight.

I think the worry there is that the Cavs would have such a big lead at that time that all the Cleveland supporting cast would need to do would make a couple of shots to seal the game up.

Now that takes a real hater to think this comment makes sense. '97 playoffs, MJ talls Steve Kerr to be ready. Kerr is, Kerr shoots, Kerr makes, game over. What a dumba** that MJ was.

It's going to be interesting to see how you skew another great performance by LeBron into something negative in Skip Bayless d-bag fashion.
