I kind of expect the game 5 line to move up to 15 before tip. There is no reason to bet on the Hawks on the road until the Hawks finally give people a reason. Until then you have to set the spread big to split the action.

Hopefully the third time is the charm on the road.

We just need to keep it close in the first half. The longer we hang with them, the more confidence our guys will get. And you will also see their crowd start to get nervous and there will be much more pressure on them.

Before the series started the Hawks were 40-1 underdogs to win the series. I put $40 on the Hawks and stand to win $1600 if the Hawks can somehow pull this off. I wonder what the odds are now on the series as a whole.

I respect that move. I wish I had thought of checking the series line just in case.

Haha, I sincerely hope you can start a killbuckner "Atlanta Hawks Mutual Fund" account with your winnings.

Or maybe your "Atlanta Hawks Plasma Screen TV".

Ha- I just bought a house in Kirkwood. There will definitely be a pool table going in with that money if the Hawks somehow pull it off. A bunch of my friends know about my bet and I was getting a ton of crap after the first 2 games of course. But now all of them are kicking themselves for not listening to me when I tried to get them to jump in as well!

Return to Atlanta Hawks
