I buy it - SI is a quality magazine and the eds would have to be sold on McCallum's source, McCallum is a good journalist and close tot he organization.

I think it's classless to have this leaked so fast.

You really should change the title of this thread to "Mike D'Antoni rumored to be gone". That's all it is right now. It's officiall when the team announces it, not when an SI reporter says it
When I breeze past, breathe fast, on point like Steve Nash

I wish Steve Nash would just retire already so I could stop caring about this team.

I really don't know what to think about this. Kerr would never have the balls to fire D'Antoni, especially with Nash still around. But I could definitely seeing D'Antoni quitting. D'Antoni could go to a place like Toronto and be in honeymoon status for about 10 years and reunite with BC and not have people breathing down his neck like reported in the SI column. And this team really isn't getting any better and next year could be lottery disaster unless you think Shaq AND Grant Hill can survive 82 games.

Just can't believe some of you that think this coaching dismissal would be a good idea would want Avery. Yikes. D'Antoni had his flaws, but how in the hell do you think Avery would go over with some of the vets? And how in the hell do you all of a sudden expect our defense to get magically better if we keep throwing Nash and Shaq out there to defend the pick and roll?

Hell no to JVGundy. If that idiot is our coach, I will not watch this team. that guy is an idiot.

Its only a rumor, hes not gone yet. Plus, we already have a thread about this.
