*sigh*

I know the loss is frustrating and all but you don't can the 2-time MVP after one bad series. Are you kidding me? So he's been turning the ball over alot? If you've been watching him and the team the whole year, you should know that Nash was playing fine until we got Shaq. That's when his TOs started to pile up. It's the whole team. I'll not be shy to say Nash had disappointed me in this series, and so does some other guys, but realistically who are we going to replace him with? And why would those team want Nash if they have younger or better PG?

Nash is still a hell of a player. He's probably our only clutch player/shooter as well, too bad we have to rely on him too much that we become too predictable in the clutch. Really, who else we can go to in clutch? Teams know that.

Nash stays.

Normally I am kind of a Suns hater. But near at the end of game 5 I suddenly feel bad for your team, especially Nash, Shaq and D'Antoni.

Nash gave his all, sure he had many costly TOs; but he had been giving his best for the last couple of years. He deserved at least an appearance in the Final. (But I didn't buy the ref bias theory, this year or last year) For those fans who blame him, who would you go for in the clutch? Amare? Give me a break...

Despite the missed free throws, I think Shaq did well in this series. However, being part of the biggest trade this season, people will blame him for the 1st round exit. He gave his best in this half of the season too. Hopefully this can motivate him for the whole summer and he will be fit to play for you guys at the start of the season.

Mike D'Antoni will receive a lot of blame too. Sure he has his fault, but he is a good coach nonetheless. He is loyal to his players and he is the main reason that the Suns always have the best chemistry in the NBA. I can't believe how quick you guys forget what he had done for your team in the past few years. Literally he is the coach who change the whole NBA! Moreover, he did his best to adjust his strategy IN THE MID-SEASON. Yeah, you guys lost in the end but he IMO deserves some props. Honestly can you think of another coach that would do a better job than him?

If you want someone to lose his job, Kerr should be the first and your owner should be the second (if possible)

Hey they finally called walking, unfortunately it was on Shaq and he didn't even have the ball, he was on defense, and he picked up his fifth foul b/c of it. I know you can't blame the loss on the refs but man NBA referees are the FREAKING WORST. Manu takes 3 steps every drive he takes, Tony does almost every time, the Suns players are getting called for fouls for just standing there when the 2 douches are slamming into them. It gets stupid to watch.
Amare must be hated by the refs b/c it seems like he never gets the benefit of the doubt.
And it must be a little embarrassing to Shaq to see Boris Diaw getting fed over and over in the post b/c Shaq is almost worthless in the post now. He can hardly dunk anymore. If he would have finished just a couple of those easy 3 point plays, instead of missing a chippy then proceeding to miss both free throws. Ouch. It seems like Skinner would be a bigger plus out there than Shaq to me, maybe i'm way off. Skinner finishes better than Shaq, and shoots better freethrows, is a better shot blocker. Skinner can still dunk. Maybe i'm taking crazy pills.

They are always bad....but really, they're no worse than last year.

The refs are irrelevant in this series. We lost.

We were down 0-3. Not even close.

Maybe Duncan did trip on Shaq's leg, but the point is, he ran into Shaq's leg and tripped on his own foot! The next trip down the court, Parker did the same thing and got the same call. So, a pattern developed in this series. All you need to do of you're on the Sterns is throw yourself recklessly at any Sun's player and fall down. You'll get to the line.

I'm just waiting on the "experts" to blast Shaq for the exit. Okay, he missed free throws. But did he have the ball stolen, throw a TO to Amare's legs, throw the ball to the assistant coaches while in the post, or inbound the ball to someone draped in a Bowen Blanket? I don't recall him being involved in any one of those plays. Those plays cost us the series. If the league doesn't do something about the obvious bias for the Spurs and eliminate the fuggin Hack-a-Shaq crap, well, the Spurs should have the title locked up for the next decade. I just can't understand why the dirtiest, whiningest, floppingest team gets all of the respect of the refs. Hell, even Joey Crawford was calling crap, and he is the one that was fired for ejecting TD last year!!!

Jaypo, but as the poster said on this page of this thread, Shaq was terrible offensively yesterday.

He only shot 2-8, missed a bunch of easy shots and he just can't dunk the ball anymore because he can't jump that well.

He missed a lot of easy shots REALLY badly.

He's useless offensively; he should have just stuck to rebounding and blocking shots.

D'Antoni made the right call to go to Diaw in the post instead of Shaq; that's how much he's declined offensively.

He did have a bad game, and with Diaw hot, he should have gotten the ball. But when he covered TD, he did a decent job. He had a few blocks. He also rebounded well. He did not hit F/T's, but we were still in a position to win at the end. We made too many mental errors in games 1 and 5. Plain and simple. Shaq didnt't shoot well, but Nash didn't defend well. Shaq didn't make f/t's, but Nash turned the ball over.

Jaypo,

That's what concerns me about Shaq; he just can't score anymore.

The Spurs never doubled him and he was missing easy shots all the time.

Actually, if I remember correctly, when the Suns lost to the Hornets in New Orleans after the trade, the announcers were laughing at him for missing so many easy shots.

It's really sad to see how badly he's declined offensively.

I mean, some of the shots he missed yesterday would have been easy dunks for him a few years ago, but he just can't jump anymore.

Next year, just completely take him out of the offense and let him defend and rebound.

Not to just pick on one part of your post, but how the hell can you not buy the ref bias theory when it was confirmed that a corrupted official was working Game 3, one of the most blatant and awfully officiated games in the history of the NBA?
