We really need to win this game and close this series out. Put some extra pressure on boston in their game 5 that follows ours knowing that we're resting and preparing for round 2 while they are still in a battle and perhaps make them press a bit too hard. Also give their fans something to be concerned about and perhaps take a little energy away.

Wiz Game 5 thread is up to page 11 by now, but it's mostly posters ripping each other.

On one of the NBA commercials I think it's Rudy T that says 'Never underestimate the heart of a champion.' How fortunate we are to have that LeBron guy.

Props too, to the poster (I forget who now) after game 1 that said 4 was the important one. Hope the Cavs close em out tonight and you guys enjoy the celebration at the Q.

Yeah, the Cavs got it in the bag, hopefully. The supporting cast plays much better at the Q. I expect Lebron to get them rolling early. I had underestimated them coming into the playoffs, that last month was shaky. But I've always agreed that just by Lebron being on court it gives them at least a fighting chance against any team in the L.

If the Cavs are in control of the glass like they're capable of tonight, this series ends in 5. In games 1 & 3, the Wizards kept it respectable with the Cavs only having a plus 6 margin combined. In Game 1, the Wizards were actually outrebounding and winning the game until the final 4 minutes. Sure the Cavs defense had some to do with that, but I'd bet the Wizards think most were decent looks at the basket. In Games 2 and 4, the Cavs were a combined plus 35. It will be interesting to see which Arenas shows up also. The guy that lit it up in game 1, or the that has averaged 6 points a game since that night. The more I watch him out there, the more I think him coming back has hurt his team. The Wizards have talked alot and have failed to back any of it up. At this point, I'm tired of hearing them. End this tonight, Go Cavs.

No Arenas tonight or the rest of the playoffs. He's decided to shut it down a few hours before the game. Probably a smart decision, he didn't look like himself out there. Lets get this party started. It's Gametime.

Wally with a series of horrible plays to start the game. 2 turnovers and 1 ugly looking wide open bank attempt. But wow, what a shot by Z.

Now the flagrant fouls are flying everywhere. Elbow to LeBron's face and a flagrant by Songalia.. AV just got a bogus T from Stevenson smaking his hand away with his back turned. They're winning this game, whats the need for all this? I'm suprised Songalia wasn't tossed. If we shoot more FT's than them, Wizards caused it. The refs will call this very tight the rest of the way.

You're right, it was a punch to the chin. At first I thought it was an elbow.

That end of the quarter 3 was ugly. Not to mention the Cavs went the last 3 or so minutes without scoring at all. Not good at all.

Prune Juice brought it tonight. Cavs outrebounded that first quarter by 1. Really nothing good about that first quarter. A quick run here, lets go Cavs.
