Vince Carter..
no this isn't a Carter thread about "potential" or "effort" or anything like that..I'm wondering which teams could use him in the upcoming season? which teams could he help get over the hump as a #2 option, or even a #3 on better teams?..teams that could realistically acquire him, whether it would be by moving a few players elsewhere to make room for a VC trade, trading players straight up, 3 way trades, and whatever else possible..also, would fans of these teams here on RealGM be interested in their team acquiring him for the right price?..

Yeah, we could desperately use a guy that's a capable scorer and can create his own shot as a third option. You could argue he'd be the best player in that type of position since he has the ability to step up but is fine with taking a lesser role and can play off the ball as well.
The question is, what we'd have to give up though.
EDIT-"We" being the Rockets.
Dallas would also be another good destination.

Houston Rockets would be a perfect fit for him. Whats better then pairing up McGrady with his effortless cousins, two losers together should get us out of the first round
Anyways...yeah I think he would be a great 2nd/3rd option on the Houston Rockets. Yao-Tmac-Carter would be a fun trio to watch, and he would fit right in if either Yao or Mac got injured.

He would look very nice with a team like Utah or New Orleans but those are dream situations.
Cleveland could probably use him but I don't think he would be as effective in Cleveland as a second option as him and LeBron are the same in the sense that they need the ball to be effective.
It would be really nice to see him team up with Yao and T-Mac but that's not very likely as who would they give up to get him?
I've already said many times that Dallas traded for the wrong New Jersey Net.
Phoenix? But who would they give up? Boris Diaw + Barbosa + picks? I don't know if cheap Sarver wants to take on 4 max contracts though, that's a lot!
Detroit? But once again, just like Cleveland, he doesn't seem like he would fit in with that team and plus if they don't make it to the finals they'll probably consider blowing it up.
Toronto he would fit in perfectly but uhh...lets not go there.
