No way Bogut is a better post player than Curry was a couple years ago.

Curry would score on double teams, Bogut would inevitably throw an awful pass for a fast break when the double came.

Bogut's declining passing was one of the only things to be disappointed in him about last year.

No Redd cannot.

Neither can Mo. That is not his M.O. You must get rid of both of them and start over.

That is what Sam Mitchell was probaly trying to tell Mo and Redd to do a long time ago and they refused.

But perhaps with a coach like Skiles, they will respond properly...I would not take the chance on either of them.

I would move them both...

If Redd does not have to worry about taking all the shots then he can have energy to play on the defenisive side of the ball.

But we have heard coaches come in here and baby Redd to his discredit.
Demands to be great and reach your potential can come from a coach who does not allow you to fail.

Many do not want to be coached or pushed. But in the military and in boot camp, everyone is pushed and kicked in the ass to be the best they can be no matter who they are!

Until the stubborness ends and pride ends and they humble themselves to play and trust each other we will be right back in the lottery again...

Skiles talking to Krystkowiak and mentioning that their respective familes would be having dinner together sends a subtle message to the players. Skiles will know all of your dirty little secrets and will undoubtedly put you under a microscope if Krystkowiak paints you as a quitter, malcontent or something of the sort.

The game has already begun.

Yes....and as you noted in the other thread, I have no clue if Hammond was the brains behind Detroit or just a guy along for the ride. But we all finally have a clear message from Herb Kohl that for now Skiles and Hammond will rule the roost and be on the same page.

And we also probably know what page that is and it doesn't involve Redd, Mo or CV unless they clean up their act.

And maybe those guys will keep agitating for a trade and get their wish granted.
Their wish is my wish! I will help them all pack! Every last one of them!

I look at the Hawks and Magic and Wizards and Raptors and that could have been us!

I am tired of all of them! None of them are winners! None of them! That is all I am gonna say and have been saying...

They are quitters, and no matter where they go in their careers I will pull for them to lose. Never betray loyal fans who believed in you.

We gave them all 3-4 years with excuses. No more! Lets play to win or get the hell out!

The Brewers are, the Wave, Golden Eagles and UWM are...where are the Bucks!?

I take this has sarcasm, at least i hope so. He spoke about Redd because (a) he was asked about him and (b) he's our most high profile player.

Eurpoa, I get your point about Bogut being a better passer out of the low post - although Curry improved a ton in recent years. Bogut is a better passer, especially at this point in his career.

But Bogut is horrible at establishing low post position. Until he learns how to do that, he is way behind Curry (in low post offense) in my opinion. It doesn't do any good to be able to pass from the low post if the low post is really half-way between the low block and the wing.

Bogut seems to do most of his inside scoring on put backs off offensive rebounds and passes to him as he drives to the hoop. He has developed the ability to score some with his back to the basket, but those shots seem inordinately acrobatic to me.

I see Curry as having a classic back-to-the-basket offense. He establishes position, catches the ball well, and has a soft shooting touch around the rim. If you need a basket, he can get you one.

Bogut does not have a single bread-and-butter move. He struggles to get good low post position. He relies on a developing play to score.

Overall, I like Bogut over Curry.

But if I needed one hoop at the end of the game, I like Curry on the low blocks.
