Probably Jeff Foster. He's a solid player and is paid pretty fairly. I wouldn't mind trading for him.

Marquis Daniels is most likely after Foster IMO.

I'll say Dunleavy, Daniels, and Murphy

and I think David Harrison is most likely to murder someone.

I'm sure that Tinsley and O'Neal are on the block, but they are going to be very difficult to trade. No one wants Tinsley. O'Neal is probably wanted, but his salary is a huge obstacle and his trade value is at an all-time low, so the offers for him are likely to be pretty disappointing.

Murphy is pretty much untradable too, even though he had a decent year for us, because no one else wants to take on his contract.

The Pacers should not trade Daniels or Diogu--if we keep them for another year, they both come off the books next summer, lowering the payroll by about $10 million...something that badly needs to happen.

For entirely different reasons, it would be crazy to trade Granger as well. I would think it would take an insane offer to pry him away from the Pacers.

The most tradeable guys on the team, as I see it, are Dunleavy, Foster, and Williams. It's not hard to come up with plausible reasons as to why other teams would want those guys, and also as to why it might make sense for the Pacers to trade them. Not sure what the price for them should be, but I'd hope that the Pacers would insist on getting something pretty good in return if they are going to trade any of them.

I think Ike and Marquis are the likely candidates. But I think that Marquis will be held onto until the 2008-2009 trade deadline as a bargaining chip to get into some of those "3-team" trades where the 2 teams need a 3rd partner with an Expiring Contract.

Keep in mind that next summer Granger is going to be due a contract extension, unless the Pacers just give him a qualifying offer, which is highly unlikely.

So Granger is going to be due a big pay raise. To keep him without getting into luxury tax territory, the Pacers are going to have to clear some room on the payroll.

That's why I think that Daniels and Diogu will not be traded, unless the Pacers manage to dump someone else's salary for expiring contracts.

Dunleavy won't. I remember hearing alot of interest for Foster. I think they can add a decent draft pick for Foster in the 15-20 range. If that does come alieve, i do see us dealing him.

Daniels or Ike i think would be part of a package.

Shawne Williams i don't think will be traded.

I don't think that Foster will being traded. He is now the only player who plays defense really well in the paint area.

Notice that Troy Murphy is not good at defense, but he is doing pretty well in Obie's offense system. So I think unless we can get a good defense big guy, Larry Bird wouldn't trade Jeff away this summer.

lol yeah Murphy is untradeable because nobody will ever want him for his type of money.

Lines that make you laugh out loud:

On Dallas's prospects of trading Dampier and his big fat contract, Peter Vecsey wrote, "I doubt that Cuban could package Dampier with Microsoft and get a good deal."

Just substitute "Tinsley" for "Dampier" and you get the same joke. Or "Murphy." Or maybe "O'Neal."

No way man Foster is a great role playing Center and his contract is exp. as well Daniels is in his last contract yr so if we were gonna move them we'd be needing to get a lot in return.

I could see Ike and Murph going in a deal or Ike and Jamaal but trading Jamaal or JO will be real hard considering the fact that they were injured so much, JT will be nearly impossible to trade. Best thing we could hope for would be for him to get healthy and then trade him at midseason.

No I don't think any player is untradeable, we thought Jack was untradeable, all you gotta do is take someones problem or huge mistake contract. Now we all thought we got boned on the GSW trade but now Mike D is looking pretty good and we still have Ike. I think if you sweetened the deal a little Murph could be traded. Murph and Shawne for something? Who knows. Now like I said in my last post Jamaal is the one who is closer to untradeable because of his injury at least Murph is healthy for the most part.

I believe the possible trading order (outside of JO/Tins) will be Daniels, Diogu, Foster, Murphy, and Williams. Granger being the least likely, and add Dunleavy after Williams, but still not likely to be moved.

Murphy should be much higher on my list, but I just don't see too many offers for a guy with his contract size. Foster is just too valuable of a commodity to be ignored in upcoming trades, and will probably be one of the most requested players in upcoming trade proposals. Diogu would draw some interest on the market, but Daniels will probably be the easiest to move IMO, and I believe it'll be for a salary-dumping trade-- not necessarily because he's the most desired player on the roster, BUT he has some trade value and he is certainly one of the players the Pacers must lose to improve the team image.
