he had a great game tonight

I was a bit suprised,

he did go a bit more aggressive to the board and what made his shots tonight was the higher arch...he needs to continue so to shut me up

He can shoot threes. He will never play poorly again.

Mac sent no message tonight. I think he put the Jazz away but the bench and supporting guys got us the lead.

McGrady will have his chance in game 6 though. I don't see our supporting guys playing well on the road. If he still has it in him...if he wants to end all the criticism. He needs to play the best game of his career in game 6.

Well upon winning Game 5, it seems as if McGrady is giving himself the most credit. I hope he realizes that there's still another game to play, that is a much tougher game on the road. He needs to deliver the same message in Game 6.

gosh i hope t-mac isn't setting himself up for failure...he needs to come up big in game 6 cause if not the talk will fly "He couldn't back it up when it mattered the most" i just hope they have a chance in the end and don't get blown out...(i can't see it but you never know)

His comments were in regards to game 5. Technically he sent the message. We won..he had a great game. What some of us are contending is that it doesn't count b/c the game was a blowout. And that we would like to see him send this message in game 6. He hasn't said that he will. We on this board have said that he should.

Tracy said the team was going to send a message, not just him. And they absolutely did.

I think he meant a message as in a hard foul or something because he was commenting on the physical play of Utah, but obviously that wasn't needed in game 5.

Interesting. I've always been a big fan of Tracy McGrady. I hope that some day he'll be able to make it out of the first round. I'm excited to see how the rest of this series will go. Rockets are a great team :D

Irony is that this may turn out to be his most palpable loss. He can't let it happen though!

Mac needs to keep quiet and show the stuff. Too much talking will only invite ridicules.

Lets hope tomorrow he looks to send the same message. Man, if we had 2000-2005 McGrady on our team, we probably would have been up in this series.

if one or two plays/calls went the other way (flop, out of bounds foul call, bobby jackson makes one more shot,...) we would be up in this series.
if we had 00-05 tmac we would already be playing LA

I agree that if this was the same t-mac who had faced the pistons with orlando they would deff be up or already have put the jazz away.
I got a question why they hating on me....
