How about Barbosa and Tucker for Ron Artest?

Substitute Tucker for that 15th pick and you've got a deal.

I think our SHOT begins in 2-3 years after we sign a FA in 2010. Yeah it requires patience, but that's our best bet. We should be battling the likes of the Blazers, Hornets, T-Wolves, Jazz IMO. THe Spurs, Suns, Mavs, Rockets. Lakers are going to fade soon. REALLY soon.

I don't think that is our best shot considering we don't know who the FA even is. Do we pass on an opportunity to get a Billups though? What if a Brand becomes available as well? If we can do that without causing a fire sale with our youngs why not?

I don't think that patience always dictates the best option. Sometimes making something happen is whan needs to be done. Whether it is going young or going to win now I think we have the resources to make a play either way, and need to do so.

I still think Dallas can take one more shot by adding a Ron Artest caliber player and THEN if that fails try blowing it up.

the blow up may have already begun with the firing of Avery Johnson................Stay tuned

Not really. Usually when a team fires a coach it's a sign that they are wanting to make a major change without "blowing it up". They may make a few trades but I really can't see them dismantling the team.

And by that I mean trading the majority of the roster and or more than 1 or 2 key players.
