The refs didn't even think enough of it to eject him from the game, but now they decide to suspend him? Lebron was pulling down on his Songaila's arm when they got tangled up. How hard could that hit have been? It was the back of Songaila's hand too..Lebron is a true gyal.

well its 3-2 the nbas gotta find a way to get lebron into the second round and i guess this is the nba finding whatever small advantage they can give bron bron

no suprise, the message is clear, don't mess with star players. Although he may have been suspended if it was a lesser guy, but with Lebron it was almost a forgone conclusion. you simply can't mess with star players or u deserve what u get basically

Not sure what the difference is between Songaila using the chicken wing on LeBron, and LeBron using the intentional elbow to Andray Blatche.

BTW: No technical, flagrant or foul in general was called for the LeBron/Blatche play, though a retroactive flagrant was assessed 2 days after it happened (which means nothing since no free throws could be taken).

I watched that video about a dozen times. It looks like their arms got tangled, Songaila is trying to pull his arm away, but LeBron pulls up too, and pulls Songaila's arm into his own face. Suspension for that is really ridiculous. That's like when you pick on your little brother by grabbing his arm and slapping him with it saying "Stop hitting yourself". Except it was LeBron that hit himself with SOngaila's arm.

That is exactly what I was thinking.
Had this been the other way around they still would have most likely suspended Songaila for trying to make it look like LeBron hit him in the face...

this is sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo rediculous, KG shoves a referee, not another player, but a ref and he gets a slap on the wrist and songaila gets his arm caught under lebrons and it just happened to knick lebrons chin when he yanked it out so he gets suspended...im soooooo close to boycotting the NBA, i just really hope kg and the celtics get what they deserve and get bounced by the hawks. i hate watching favoritism in the nba, if people didnt have some gay man crush on garnett for accomplishing absolutely nothing in his career than we would not have this problem but since he is a "star" player he gets special treatment and the nba could not have made it more obvious. at least im a blazer fan so i know that our team is soooo stacked that there is nothing the refs can do to sabotage our team. i hope kg, nba refs and the league executives and lebron for the matter all get what they deserve.

The league is rigged.. how does Garnett get away with elbowing Zaza then pushing a ref to get back into the fray after he was horrendously clowned??

What Songaila did is not even close to flagrant and does not deserve a suspension AT ALL! Complete BS!

The difference is one is a bum and one is a star. Did the KG situation teach us nothing. Stars sell tix, thus they are not gonna be suspended. Stern at his hypocrite finest in these playoffs.

exactly, the commercials to promote, the money that is brought in, the crowds that are there, are heavily based on STAR POWER! they are the ones that sell in this league. your not gonna get a whole lot of songalia jerseys gettin sold.
