who said anything about efficient? KD was not efficient at all. Al has a better mid-range J than Smoove. Inside he is way undervalued. Look none of this can be proven because it's all hypothetical. But, even Josh Smith(I think it was Josh) said the same thing in an AJC article. That if they came down and wanted to get him 20 game that could have easily. But, that wasn't best for the team, nor best for AL.

... and Charles Barkley said that Sheed was the best player in the league and Larry Bird said that DJ was the best player he ever played with. Big deal.

Al's season high is 20 points, he couldn't have "easily" averaged that over the season. Dwight Howard barely averaged that. Carlos Boozer averaged a little more than that. Our team needed offense in the worst way most of the season but Al was averaging 9.5 points on 47% shooting (Bibby coming certainly helped him because he didn't have to iso as much).

Al has been awsome but he doesn't have the type of game right now where he could consistently be your top scorer.

so you're telling me as the first option, with complete autonomy to shoot Al couldn't have averaged 20 a game this year? Wow. Then I guess we agree to disagree. I'm not talking about Solomon Jones here. Ha ha.

Word, don't get me wrong. Al has more offensive ability than the stat sheet shows. I just don't see him as a guy who could average that this season. He doesn't create well enough for himself yet. I think it might come eventually but for now I want to see him as an oportunistic scorer.
