I hope so, at least not the crying the everyone hates Kobe can stop. I voted for him in the RealGM vote anyways, so it isn't like I didn't think he would win. But if this is true though there's not link or anything, then good for him, well deserved.

Quite amazing indeed.

Would CP3 buy his teammates steaks and get an MVP chant? It's highly unlikely

CP3 can't afford it ( ) since he hasn't gotten his big contract yet, while Kobe has had two, plus a lot of endorsements, lol. Meat is expensive these days you know.

Kobe's got to support his own namesake industry.

But its so good, especially in tartar form. Kobe is the MVP of steak meats, and also the MVP of the NBA.

The top three is Paul, Kobe, and KG.

KG won DPOY. Boston won 66 games. They transformed into an elite defensive team. His teammates are going to detract votes from him.

Kobe is one of my favorite players. It is a travesty that he hasn't already won MVP. His Lakers returned to glory with a WC best 57 wins. I want him to win, but I have an intuitive instinct that Pau is going to kill it.

Paul will win MVP because New Orleans was elite all season long. The Lakers weren't elite until after they acquired Pau.

Wow really? Is #1 in the West not elite?

(Cause thats what the Lakers were even before they acquired Gasol...)

And how were the Hornets elite all season? They were #1 for like 2 weeks out of the entire season.

the spurs were #1 longer than anybody

Since this thread is so dead thought I'd post something interesting:

You'll notice how big of a difference zone defenses are as opposed to m2m+1 defenses (i say +1 because you can always cheat a little bit off m2m).

Well, there's nothing to discuss anymore... Bryant is the MVP of the 07-08 season...

congratulations

i think we'd want to dissect the voting toals and all in this thread

like who got second out of CP3 and KG

or fourth out of LeBron and Superman

or who got the "P.J. Brown" sympathy vote this year
