I read 5 pages of posters being attacked for saying they wanted AI traded, the hate he received was in direct response to the lies and other garbage that you and your 3 or four buddies came up with.
Ballin02 wrote:Someone cared what team I followed because they asked me the question and I answered it towards THEM. And god forbid someone is actually an AI fan...is that a sin around here or something?
Your right I should have stated it more clearly, just like the original question should have been stated more clearly, who do you care more about the Nuggets or AI, and I think we can all tell where you stand so no problem.
Ballin02 wrote:I hate to break it to you, but you have a few players on this team that want to put up their stats just to look good. I care about my SPURS team. Yes!! For the 100th time. And started watching the Nuggets a little closer (along with a lot of people) when they got Iverson. Ive said that I don't even know how many times now. You act like you are figuring something out.. that I have already said in the 1st place. If you think he is hurting the team, fine. Great for you. But theres a difference between saying, "lets trade him, he doesn't fit"...then saying half the garbage that is going on in here and half the garbage YOU say. I'm not sure how people don't understand this.
So let me get this right, the only valid opinion is yours? AS long as we state that Ai would be better off elsewhere as the nuggets suck we are good? Is that what you and your cohorts are saying? As that is what you act like, and quit honestly many of us view it as the Nuggets suck because they have AI, and have every right to state that without being attacked. So excuse us if we have the nerve to defend ourselves and our position.
Ballin02 wrote:Speak for yourself, some Nuggets fans in here are logical and give good reasoning behind what they say..and some just don't like Iverson because he is taking shine of off Melo. People seem to be split down the middle. Some want Iverson to stay, some don't...a lot want Karl to leave, some don't...Some even want Melo to leave now, some don't. Whats your point? Ofcourse you don't care about CERTAIN players once they leave your team..thats more then obvious (I bet you if Melo was to leave you'd care huh? And would probably follow his progress on another team right?), thanks for proving my point. Any real b-ball fan knows and respects the great standout players of the league and cares about their careers..but I guess thats "foreign" to you. I'm not even going to talk about all that ball movement and chemistry stuff your talking about, because the forum has already addressed that.
Still do not get it do you. The only people you seem to see as logical with good arguments are Ai fans who agree with you on how great he is.
AS for Melo if we get the right package for him, I am 100% fine with it. See I have been a fan before you even knew the NBA existed, and have remained a Nuggets fan through the good and bad times, something you obviously have no clue about.
AS for what happens to the stars and players I respect, I hope they have good careers and wish them luck, but I do not want any of them to hurt the Nuggets while playing for or against them.
So the small market Nuggets should just be grateful to get any attention? Go **** yourself. In case you did not notice it the Nuggets are paying these big stars as much or more then anybody else would in the league right now. So they should be grateful that an owner is willing to shell out enough to pay them that, and thankful that such a small market can actually accomplish the task of selling tickets every night even with the team raising the pirces close to 50% over the last three years.Ballin02 wrote:You are ungreatful, because the Nuggets are a small market Franchise that is able to be relevent because you have some of the biggest stars in the league there.
Why do we care about all the attention these guys have gotten us? what of it has been positive? Besides we would get plenty of attention if they would pull their heads out of their asses and start winning when it matters.Ballin02 wrote:It wasn't untill Melo came that people started to pay a little attention again and it wasn't untill Iverson came that the world started paying attention. Some teams would kill to have half the talent (those teams would probably have an actual plan and fit the talent together better ofcourse, but thats another story).
So with less turmoil then they had three years ago, and less injuries, I should be thankful that they won one more game and I paid 50% more to see them do that. Not to mention all the nights they decided not to bother trying and I still had to pay full price.Ballin02 wrote:You are ungreatful because with all the tourmoil throughout this year, they still won 50 games.
Ballin02 wrote:If you are a fan of a team then you support the players. Some of you support everyone but Iverson.
When they are on the court I agree you support them, however once they step off the court it is part of being a fan to want improvements and the guys who you see hurting the team to be gone.
Ballin02 wrote:Yet you want him to work his ass off to help make your team better.
A guy drawing a paycheck is supposed to do everything he can to make himself and his company results better. As a paying customer I am not going into a resteraunt where the cook only half way cooks a steak while doing it however he feels like doing it, and I expect the team I pay to watch to go out there and do their jobs and follow the directions they have been given.
Ballin02 wrote:We've been over the fact that some don't think Iverson was the right fit for the team and that lackluster system, and thats why people are in here trying to come up with scenerios. How many times does someone have to say this?
Ballin02 wrote:You would bash them regardless. Ive seen forums before Iverson was even traded there with people bashing Andre Miller for "pounding the ball" and "taking shots away from Melo"..now that he's gone, people are saying "I wish we had Andre". Give it a rest.
People or me? Find me somewhere I bashed Miller over and over again for anything, in fact find me a player that I have ever constantly bashed any player not named Iverson.
Ballin02 wrote:I find it funny that some of you talk about Iversons passing, yet Carmelo barely doesn't pass the ball at all. You leave that out though. It could be coaching..or it could be him, but when the ball comes to him, it stops completely. More then anyone else on the team. But hey I guess thats fine for Melo as long as no one else does it right?![]()
Funny in a thread about AI you keep bringing Melo into it, yet Nuggets fans are called the haters.
Either way Melo is 23 and has a chance to change, and prior to the trade had actually gotten to the point of properly passing the ball. Given the fact that 23 year olds change as the mature I would say it is worth the effort to keep him for a year or two to see if he is willing to change.
AI though is 32 and once a player hits that point they really do not change they just go downhill, so what is the point of keeping him knowing that he does not fit anything close to what you want to do.
Ballin02 wrote:Now as far as the unbias thing goes, I have seen people on here say you have not like Iverson and slammed him from day one. You do the same things everytime.
You are right I do not and have never liked AI, do you think you are figuring something out? Everybody knows it.
Ballin02 wrote:Mad because people don't want to sit back and watch some of you be disrespectful and bash Iverson..questioning him with all the holes that are in this team right now?
Oh that right I should just be thankful that he was willing to come to this small market and grace us with his presence, by the way what has AI ever done for Denver, the Nuggets, or NBA basketball as a whole that he has earned my respect enough that I should overlook the fact that he has done more to hurt those things then help them.
Ballin02 wrote:And just saying he is the problem and nothing else?
Where have I ever said that he was the only problem? Once again I see you are trying to put words in my mouth.
Ballin02 wrote:You can say at times he has been part of the problem, yes.
A guy is either a part of the problem or he is not, there are no at times, and AI is a large part of the problem.
Ballin02 wrote:But just saying he is the main problem with that team is ridiculous.
Right yet trying to say Ac, or karl, or Melo are the main problem is perfectly acceptable.
Ballin02 wrote:This topic has been talked about over and over and i'm over it now. Hopefully Iverson will leave and that Franchise can come up with a solution to whatever problems they will have. But I honastly hope you can get yourself together..having this much hate for one person can't be healthy. This forum has gotten out of hand, finished with this topic... you want Iverson gone and so do I, hopefully he will make both of our wishes come true.

I love this, you AI fans all try this same ****, I do not like AI so I have the problem, let's not look at reality, or the fact that some of you are so worried about him that it is really you that have the problem.
