The Official if we lose, its NOT T-Mac's fault thread

Post#1 » by McGrady2Head » Sat May 3, 2008 3:52 am

i feel so sorry for t-mac having to play with so many scrubs his whole career. declerq, zaza, garrity, armstrong, steven hunter, a washed up ewing, chris whitney, jerryl sasser, pat burke, and jacque vaughn were his teammates when he took the pistons to 7 games when he was with orlando.

his first season with the rockets when we played the mavs, he has juwan howard (injured), scott padgett, ryan bowen, david freakin wesley, moochie norris, bob sura (had the flu). the only good players he had were yao and mike james, which was no where near enough to beat dallas

and now hes playing with scrubs like head, hayes, novak, mutombo, etc.

If he goes 0-fer in the 4th, the trade McGrady threads will be back, even though he absolutely DOMINATED the first half.

He also had 2-0 leads in those series. And one was 3-1.

the fact that he even won a game against dallas or detroit those years was amazing. deron williams couldnt take that scrub magic team to 7 games with the pistons

He's also not dumb enough to declare a series over when leading 3-1.

2nd half he stopped attacking the basket. lol... at least he has an excuse saying that rafer got injured. It's not his fault obviously, but we had a chance to win if he stayed aggressive.

Well I'm not sure what to say, is it fair to blame Tmac for disappearing in the second half? His body language is just so obvious that he's physically exhausted to the point where he can't really do anything, on top of that he's always playing with injuries.

Hopefully next year the playoff race won't be as crazy so that we can rest our players more towards the end of the season. With a lot of teams improving though, it's not looking too good. I think we need to trade for a third scorer badly.

This IS exactly WHY it's majority McGrady's fault. Bring that 1st half intensity EVERY game. We win the series relatively comfortably.

McGrady's capable of playing like a god when he's on that court, and literally dominating the entire flow of the game. But when he doesn't choose to be that great, he settles. That settlement causes us to lose the series. It's no about ONE HALF. It's about the entire series.

That's crap.

He isn't settling, he just isn't dominating. Nobody is capable of averaging 28 points per half, 56 points per game, or playing with that kind of intensity and focus for an entire game. It is not Tracy's fault that our expectations are so high because of the great stretches he is able to put up.

And don't forget, we weren't even supposed to be in the playoffs.

McGrady, Landry and Scola are all great. Everyone else is expendable. That includes Battier, and Brooks. We really do need a major shakeup.

I think this guy on the roster named Yao is pretty good too.
