I'm proud of Tmac, I'm proud of our team. They truly played as well as they can in this series, circumstances giving. It was just a matter of time until the Jazz came out of that shooting slump, and they won it in front of their home crowd, and good for them.

No use crying over spilt milk, but I think this series really underscores how important Alston is to our team. Utah made their second huge run almost immediately following Rafer's injury. Hopefully Tmac, Battier, and Alston have successful surgeries, Yao comes in strong and ready to play, Scola works on that 15 ft jumpshot, and Brooks adds a little muscle to that frame.

And we trade for Miller and/or pickup Artest.

Houston Rockets, 08-09 champs. You heard it here first.

Good Series Houston fans. Your team really surprised me considering the injuries and all. Your guys played hard, it just wasn't enough since you were so short handed. And thank you to MOST of the Houston fans for staying classy during the series. Hope your guys come back full strength next year!

Good series Rockets to be honest I was worried going into this game. I was telling everyonr today that if you won tonight you would win the series. I'm sorry for any bad sportsmanship on the account of any other Jazz fans. Sometimes the biggest mouths do speak the loudest and give other a bad name. See ya next year prolly.

Away from the trash talk and everything though, you played a great series, much better than I was expecting and I'm seriously impressed. Here's to hoping we can see each other again in the playoffs next year.

And here's to hoping we don't. We obviously don't match up well and don't respond to the physical play of the Jazz well.

Yao would open up the game so much with passing like divac/Sabonis. I think next year, we'll see the offense that everyone wanted when we hired adelman. Get a good shooter and 1 or 2 good finishers and we'd be a championship threat. I hope Adelman also learns to instill more basics of the game into this team too (FT shooting, defense, etc)

doesn't matter
with or without Olympics
Yao belongs to the China during NBA off-season

"The China"?? hehe I thought he spent some time over here last summer working with Hakeem? Anyways, some time is better than no time, which is like this summer where the Chinese team will milk him for what he's worth. I hope he doesn't rush back.

Disappointing loss, we had the chance to put the hammer down in the third and didn't do it. Rebounding, defense and inability to hit open shots really hurt us tonight.

I always think, "hey maybe there's next season," but I've said that the past three years.

Good season by the Rockets, no faults go to T-Mac, but I hated how we came out in the 2nd half and didn't give it to them early, we let Deron take over.

Probably at home, gloating about how we should have kept him.

Just a question, but did Tmac get doubled in the first half?

They didn't double him even in the 2nd half , instead of doubling his guy was playing him tight and 2 guys waited for him in the paint if he decided to drive.
Much tougher defense than double teaming imo.
