Just to let you guys know I am a McGrady fan and I root for his team to win the 'ship when the Bulls are not in the playoffs but what I think your teams management needs to do is get a consistent third scorer who can create for himself and others on a consistent basis but I am sure you guys know that. Also I think you guys need some size up front and possibly a better starting PG but too bad its not as easy as it sounds.
Good luck to you guys next season and I hope McGrady and the Rockets stay healthy and get out of the first round atleast.
And I also believe that McGrady never getting out of the first round is his fault because everyone needs help to succeed unless you are Olajuwon.

He killed himself.
Actually, he just talked about how him not getting out of the first round wasn't going to get him down, and didn't seem like he was being ridiculously hard on himself like last year.
I think fans, media all saw this coming. Like I said before its unfair to this team and a complete disrespect to the Jazz to expect our guys to beat them in a 7 game series without our best player. A player who we had last year and lost to them in 7 games. Just unfair on both fronts. We had moments of hope in this series but I don't think any one of us truly said to ourselves that we could win this series. We would say things like we can win this series "IF" so and so. And there were a lot of 'ifs'

regarding the 3rd qtr,
whatever Sloan might say, I'm pretty sure I saw early double teams on the perim and post in that qtr where before they were staying home on defense. Granted I was in the haze of a drunken hour, but nonetheless ...
And also, not having Rafer out there distributing also contributed to T-Mac's lack of touches.
Still, yes, he should have been more aggressive. But when a double comes T-Mac's instinct is to pass out to the open man. Everyone on this board should know that by now. No point stewing over it.
Anyway, no Yao, Rafer injured 2.625 games out of 6, Battier hobbling around on a bum foot all series, BJ nursing a niggle, Adelman's refusal to respond to my telepathic pleas after game 1 to bench Head and give all his Korver-matchup minutes to Novak. ****. I think T-Mac deserves at least a small hat-tip for bringing it on at all against the obviously inevitable.
the team tried it's best. they were overmatched from the start. that's it.

I thought TMac had a fine series. He was a superstar at times. I thought Houston as a team played terrific defense.
You guys did yourselves proud considering injuries.

I'm not saying score 28pts/half. I'm saying bring that intensity. And yeah it is Tracy's fault that our expectations are so high, we aren't paying him 15mil+ to sit there & fart. We have high expectations for him, he needs to live up to them. It's been 4 years, no progress. This is NOT what we intended. We haven't even been past the 1st round for gods sake.
I wonder which direction we'd go.
So you'd rather watch pathetic basketball and completely spit in the face of the league for a year to try and get a slightly better shot at winning next year than watch great basketball that just didn't happen to get us over the hump? Did you hate watching the Suns the past 3-4 years too? I know I didn't.
For the rest, one man cannot a basketball game win. P E R I O D

If only Bobby Jackson didn't shoot 2/12 while making nearly $6 million, or Shane going 2/7 while making nearly $6 million as well. I just don't understand how this game is honestly being blamed on Tracy McGrady.
Ah, but he didn't average that for the whole series now did he? And if he had, and we'd still lost, well then he should have just averaged more!!!! That's how it works, isn't it? I mean, c'mon, duh!

How dare you call basketball with Landry, Scola, Novak, and Brooks out there for big minutes--pathetic basketball.
But seriously, that's taking it of context. Dream put in context was that we were fortunate to be there. No, we are not. We earned it. We got what we worked for, there's nothing around that.
In this series, I saw that we COULD actually beat them. But we DID NOT because we didn't think we SHOULD. That got me angry.
Landry FTW!!!!!!

If Rafer had just been healthy for the whole series I think we could've done it too - or at least taken them to 7. But, if wishes were fishes, and all that.
I dunno that any of the players lost their nerve tho' (re: "because we didn't think we SHOULD"). Well besides Luther I mean.

Oh hokay, misread you. My bad. I think we'd have had a lot more luck in the series had we not been missing Alston for 2.5 games. It's pretty unfortunate how much we were injured this year. Bleh.
