If the Jazz are better than the Nuggets. It really wasn't a fair comparison to have us play Houston and you play the Lakers. But, now we face off against the Lakers.

If we get swept out, you guys can claim to be even with us. Heck, if we lose in 7 games you still have an argument.
"Thibs called back and wanted more picks," said Jorge Sedano. "And Pat Riley, literally, I was told, called him a mother-bleeper and hung up the phone."

I don't think there are many decent minded Nuggets fans who would say the Nuggets are better than the Jazz.

That said, you guys wont win more than a game. Good luck anyway. Hope I'm wrong.

I hope you guys can take them, but like Corona said, I think they are a bad match for the Jazz. I hope I am wrong and you guys take them.

There's too much love in here. BOO THE JAZZ!

just kidding...based off record overall this season and head-to-head records this season the Jazz are better. Way better in my opinion. You have a coach who understands what it takes, and players who buy into the team concept.

I also am cheering/hoping for you guys to pull it off. Best of luck.

the jazz have owned the nuggets for a long time now, when was the last time we even won the season series? IIRC you guys even went 3-1 against us the year you missed the playoffs. and you beat us convincingly twice this season, came back to beat us when we should have won in OT, and so the only time we beat you was when kleiza went crazy and dropped a career high 41 on you... no i dont think anyone here thats got a brain thinks we are better.

but i still hate the jazz. its gonna be hard because i hate the jazz and lakers so much i have no clue who to root for. do i root for the team that swept us to whoop you guys so i feel better? or do i root for the jazz to beat the lakers so i dont have to see kobe's smug face one in the WCFs... such a hard choice!

i think you guys will win 1 or 2 games at most, but i highly doubt you win any in LA.

so... go hornets!

I'm guessing Sloan won't sit on his ass, tell his team to drive and not to pass, give up on defense, give up in general, chew on couch drops, not care when the refs abuse his team, and not care when his players (besides JR) screw up.

So since that won't happen, I give the Jazz a better chance. They have a coach. Denver has a couch drop murderer.

The thing that is going to stop this Jazz team is the officiating. Lets see if they'll get the same calls they did against the Rockets now that they're playing whistle magnet Kobe Bryant.

the jazz aren't a better team. but they play better together and that's what makes the difference between the nuggets and the jazz. that's why the jazz won't get swept by the lakers and that's from a nuggets fan

Well as a nuggggggg fan (for certain people AI follower and KM follower too, i aslo agree...)
the Jazz are not a better team on the paper but obviously they play better than the nuggs this year...
Jazz have an impressive PG, deron and Boozer is a monster....
Kobe being a blow ref magnet, in fact, but your strength will be :
deron, boozer able to stop any lakers, deron can take the game on, the guy is really impressive, good shooting stars too with ex sixers(don t have his name in mind now)....definitely the jazz won t be swap....
As they say the jazz have no trash talk, but they definitely score.
next year the team to beat in the northwest won t be the Jazz, it will Portland, with the return of Oden, so the nuggz have to do good deal in offseason, because Jazz being strong, Portland being quit good without Oden....let s go train guys....

Guys... If a team plays better as a team, they are a better team. Period.

Doesn't mean they will always be better. Doesn't mean they have better players.

I don't see the Jazz getting swept. They're too good at home.

Agreed, this whole Nuggets are one of the best on paper means nothing if they cannot show it on the court when it matters. Like it or not there are plenty of teams who are better then the Nuggets.

The Jazz run such an efficient offense compared to ours, its not even funny. Their floor spacing, and ball movement completely dwarfs Karl's "no plays, try to beat everybody based solely on athleticism" style. They will put up a better fight then we did, and I would not be surprised if they took it to 6.
