Trading ESnow

Several choices for the Cavs regarding ESnow but also some questions. Does anyone know:
1. If Snow is traded can he then retire on disability from his new team and have insurance pick up his salary instead?

2. If insurance pays his salary (either team) when does it come off the teams cap?

3. If traded, he has to pass a physical. Does passing a physical mean there's no hidden injuries to the acquiring team or that he's physically capable of playing?

4. What else would be needed to get Camby from Denver?

1) No, they outlawed that in the new CBA after the Terrell Brandon thing. Only the team for whom he was playing when he got injured can claim the medicral retirement thing.

Ha, Snow looks like one of the coaches. He's dressed like a coach and is in the coaching huddles.

Maybe he's accepted his fate. Waits until next year so the Cavs can trade his expiring contract, then he retires and stays on as an assistant in Cleveland.

I'd love to keep Snow as an assistant. He knows the game and has been a positive contributor here.

I'm not even sure I want Snow traded. But if we can get something for him it's alright. To be honest, whoever we trade him to would actually cut him anyway.

Yeah, maybe Snow can be the head or assistant coach for us.. It is probably not the best idea to trade him right away.

yea maybe he could jump right in as the offensive assistant we have been looking for?

seriously no pun intended snow is a smart player and would make a great coach, but does this team need another defensive minded coach? If we are hiring an assistant coach he needs to have some input on how this team runs an offense because what we are doing is terrible and its well known.

I'm not so sure that I want him as an offensive coach, but then, maybe he comes up with things in his mind that he'd never be able to do on a court.

I still think that the Cavs offensive is somewhat hampered by the Cavs players. Remember last year the team pretty much revolted because Brown had a more movement oriented offense that he was putting in and the team wanted more freedom. That's how they ended back up with LeBron handling the ball so much. Now we really don't do that nearly as much anymore except in the 4th quarter. I really like having Delonte running the offense. I just wish we ran a few more plays with LeBron getting back screens and curling off of screens.
