Vecsey's rumours usually sound like they come from agents, not anybody's front office.

I like the move. Carslile is like Avery with more experience. At least hopefully. Carslile was exactly like Avery but has spent several years learning the other aspects of coaching and not being a complete control freak.

We just want a coach who might be able to outcoach someone else for a change.

It's masterful bonmots like that that have him where he is today.

Im fine with it.

For one thing Carlisle did build 2 contenders. He is a good defensive coach. I'm worried about his offense but I think if he keeps Assistant Coach Westphal that it'll be ok. His offense cannot be any worse than Avery's crap offense.

And most likely his contract will be shorter than usual head coaches. At least that's what I hear and want.

I don't think it's bad, but ther really isn't a lot of options.

Carlisle's a good coach.. But he won't be able to fix the mess in Dallas.. They'll need a roster makeover..

Carlisle is an awesome coach. Does the Eastern Conference want to think about picking up some good coaches? Just a little bit?

I think Carlisle is vastly overrated. Maybe this gig will finally make that clear.
