Look I would love to eat my words and the Big three succeed but I just don't see it working if lamar doesn't get a perimeter game. Spending his expiring is much more worth it than keeping him. Especially for draft picks and defensive SF with shooting. We shouldn't be paying 4th option alot of money, we'd have to spend more money on Byum (as I predict he's going to want a lot of money), ronny, ariza, and etc. Ofcourse it might be an isult that his cap will be near walton and rad region but they were one of the mistakes made by Mitch. On the declining part, how good was compared to last year before gasol and how good has he been in POs? He still turn over prone and 4th quarter choke job. Im saying we don't have to settle for less. We have 14 whopping mil expiring next season. And opp at getting much better picks than the ones we lost and adjust by adding role player in case the big three doesn't succeed.

ugh... based on what? I have explained to you the concept of the Lakers offense and the Triangle. You have not once made a point to defend this.
Your fantasy of a "clogged drain" offense is flawed and proven wrong. Yet you still go on about changing his game and taking less money.
Triangle = Motion offense. Gasol and Lamar can play away from the basket. Lakers are a great passing team. ( Sans Bynum- but he is a good passer) If anything , Lamar is going to get and create easy shots. Its a match up nightmare for every team.
Front court is long and athletic and can rebound, defend and score. I dont see any problems. That is mainly based on the open offense we have the attention 24 will always get.
Cheers.

we'll just have to see is bynum for the team or for himself...if hes for the team, he would know that he has not played enough games for him to demand a max contract...
either way....i bet you anything odom will still get his 14ppts 10rebs with bynum in the lineup..

put me down as someone who says odom needs to be traded next season - regardless of how he plays this year.
if bynum is healthy and plays with gasol - odom is just completely wrong for this team.
the new line up will highlight his weaknesses, and make most of his strengths almost useless.
unless you're planning on trading bynum or gasol, odom needs to be moved. our money will be better spent, and our team much improved for it.
and the fact that he's now playing great (as a PF obviously next to a good offensive center...) - will only help us get good value for him.
i'll be very surprized if he's here long term - assuming bynum is 100%.
