Post#1 » by Sid the Squid » Sun May 4, 2008 3:12 am

outshot by their opponents..

Gimmick ball cracks me up..

2nd worse rebounding team in the league too..by a wide margin..Thank God for Lasme's heat.

We've got 4 kids shooting 53% or higher, yet our vets take most of the shots at around a 40% clip..Our coach designed this..He even refused to play the kids let alone give them shots.

Well . . . not that I disagree about the young guys needing to get more involved, but I don't think we can reasonablly expect the young guys shooting %'s to stay that high if we start force feeding them bad isos. For most players, shooting % comes down as your load of the offense increases. . . . unless you're Jason Richarson.

Until those numbers come down and Baron's % goes up...I'm feeding the ball to the kids..F**k Baron...Why are we so afraid of this guy? F**k Jack's chucking too..This azz kissing the vets needs to end..We need to start playing some good ball..Get some rebounders and shot blockers in there..Move the ball...Send a hitman to Maui to Kill the ODB...

Of course we were outshot. We put up a lot more attempts than the other teams but only outscored them by one basket, so clearly the opponent had a higher fg%. This is such non-news.

LF, this sort of thread over and over and over is just annoying. You make one point and then after talk on and on about the same thing you write in every other thread you start-- ODB stinks, Baron sucks, our offensive style is horrible, we need to tank for a top draft pick....

We get it. Just stating this same rhetoric over is obnoxious and pointless.

IF YOU ARE A COMPLETE TOOL, DONT READ THIS POST.

it might be better just to stop responding to LF and 510. they can keep making threads about the same stuff, pat themselves and each other on the back, drink to how brilliant they are, call everyone who disagrees a homer, koolaid drinker, etc. etc. eventually it'll be 100 threads with only two posters holding hands.

its really gotten pretty ridiculous. i find it absurd that after all the leash posters get here, especially about these same freaking ideas AGAIN AND AGAIN, one would have the nerve to bitch and moan a mod.

The posts aren't the same stuff unless you generalize them... apparently anything that proves Nellie, the FO or Baron incorrect in any way is lumped into "bashing"... but we can go ahead and praise any little semi-accomplishment any of those 3 achieve, right?

The fact is our organization is making mistakes, and just because they are entertaining mistakes, doesn't mean that every W's fan is going to roll over and pretend they don't happen. The opinions of people who aren't blindly pro-Warrior-everything are usually backed up, or proven right...

You can hate how the people post it... but that doesn't change the accuracy of it all.

Nellie needs to go.

Cohan's played and playing us for chumps

Baron quit again.

Oh come on, Reggae. Its the same thing EVERY time. We already know your/LFs opinions and know that there is no way you will ever consider changing your opinions (unless we win another playoff series with Dallas perhaps, haha).

So we dont want to discuss it anymore. Its just annoying. And its not even a real conversation...just shouting your thoughts and then covering your ears when the other person is talking while calling them blind and questioning their intelligence.

Act like an adult and move on. We dont want to hear it anymore.

How hypocritical is that... people who bring up valid points get responded to... people who don't dont... but apparently, what's offensive and boring to you and a group of other posters certainly can't be interesting or valid for anyone else...

There hasn't been much to say to retort it... it all becomes likes thread - whining. Wah wah... you're anti-this.. you're anti-that... we're anti-_____ because _____ sucks for us. Insert Nellie/Cohan/Baron... all work. A good time to ditch Nellie was last year. A good time to ditch Baron is right now. A great time to ditch Cohan is anytime.

Sorry to offend you with stuff that isnt regurgitated by announcers and ESPN color guys. Feel free to ignore it instead of complain and have a great time patting yourselves on the back for cheering on your team to a hollow 48 win season.

Yeah but it show just how helpless we (the fans and the management) are... Everybody's agreeing that the franchise made many mistakes during the last year(s). But "Tanking for Holiday" is no solution, eh? Is getting rid of Nelli a productive statement? No, unless you can present a working alternative. Bitching about Baron doesn't help unless there's some good plan to handle that situation. That's the thing...

Everything LF offers is tank in 08 (or 09 and perhaps also in 10...). :censored: that.
I kinda liked your plan to bring in Kidd and I'd be all over getting Howard... but your plan for the franchise ended with signing Maggette to big $$$, right? Doesn't that show how hard it is to build a contender? If you don't get a franchise big man via some ping pong balls or rip some other team off big time (Boozer-Cleveland, Gasol-Memphis) there's no easy way to success. Nelly and the Ws tried it via a unconventional approach (gimmick ball), that was fun to watch, got us to the second round and nearly in the playoffs this year.
I'm almost 100% sure that the best thing we could expect last&this year was a 8th seed and putting up a fight in the first round... we got that while getting Wright and loosing PoB. So far I can't put blame on anybody. They (Mulson) didn't do exceptional well, not horribly bad.
And because I haven't read any really convincing offseason plan for the Ws (there are just to many options, variables, unknowns) I say STFU unless you got some secret way to significantly improve the franchise... and no, trading Baron for Speedy Claxton and Dale Davis does not improve the Ws. Neither does canning Nelly in favor of Mike Montgomery.
