Someone wake up Ray Allen

We are very fortunate the Hawks didn't show up in that first half and our defense did.

I almost trust Ray more in the clutch when he's been struggling for most of the game. Whenever he has an efficient game through 3 quarters (like in game 6) he seems to run out of steam in the 4th quarter. Whereas if he's having an off night, it feels like he due to hit some big shots late in the 4th. At any rate, we can never got a chance to see that theory put to test because the game was blown open too fast.

I don't understand why all this bashing on Ray, he got almost the same numbers than PP. He's a great shooter but it's hard to shoot in a team with a PF always out of the paint vs. an athletic team.

if he had a bad series against the hawks, he'll have a better one against the cavs, he always bounces back

Agreed. I love Ray, and he's an integral part of this team.
It's still 17 to 11!!!!

Ray's a shooter.A great 3 point shooter misses 6 of 10. If he is having just an average night.

Ray needs to make his layups, and also has to pull up more. I like his in between game. He can hit that 15foot j with ease. He has to shoot that more.

Agreed, when he drives and then pulls up from 10-15 ft he's almost automatic.

Wally will wake him up, pour him a cup of coffee and press his shirt for the day. So will Gibson. Ray will blow by Wally and shoot right over Boobie. Last series JJ was taller, longer, and more athletic. Wally will be taller but Ray will rub him off using picks with ease, and while Gibson will stay with him Ray can just shoot over him without too much trouble.

I expect a huge series from Jesus upcoming. He's got to be disappointed in his Rd 1 play and will make up for it here.

If they have Sasha, Ray may be seeign a lot of West or LeBron.

Hopefully Vajusometing is out for the series. Without him one of Pierce,Ray will have a matchup advantage offesively.

I do love the fact that after Rondo got flagrantly fouled, Ray was the one who had his back and got between the players first....then sticks a 3 on the next play.

And yea shooters go through slumps but if you're wide open.....make it damn it!
