Game over - I still want to see the Lakers come back ready to get dirty the rest of the series. Better get those elbows sharpened before game 2.

Much closer game then I expected coming into today.

Should be a fun series.

As a Lakers fan I agree. DWill was like CP3 yesterday, good but unspectacular game. About average.

But overall, except 2nd Q, JAzz can play against the LA. They will make adjustments and take game 2.

LOL at the bitter rockets fans....Good game lakers, you deserve this win. Never let the Jazz get it close enough. Anybody still predicting a sweep though? I hope not. We will get at least one! :)

Anyone who thinks this series will be anything but a long hard fought series is kidding themselves.

And HarlemHeat, give it a rest already. I mean, what are you contributing to this thread?

Lakers got lazy which they do when they get a big lead. Jazz actually outworked them by their huge rebounding advantage. The Jazz just don't have anyone to guard Kobe. The Lakers should have won this game by at least 15 points and if they could get some rebounds by 20+ points.

Lakers can't get over confident. They need more intensity for Game 2 and in Utah.....

Too early to say that. Everyone thought the Spurs/Suns series would be hard-fought after game 1 too.

not much of a chance to win a game when jazz shoot a collective 35%. Williams shoots 25%, Bozo... Boozer turns the ball over so many times resulting in 10 laker points.

HAHA bitter much? You know its not going to be a sweep. If you honestly BELIEVE that and are not just hoping for it, then you are the worst basketball fan on the planet.
