Yeah, you guys lost, but you guys DID shock the world!

Indeed, well done. Moral victory for certain... pathetic how the "Mighty" Celtics had to rely on home court against the young Hawks, lol.

Regardless of the 4 blowouts, the 3 games in Atlanta were AWESOME!

It's just overall a positive experience for the Atlanta Hawks. The players that will continue to be part of the team need to take the experience that's been gained and continue to move push forward. The Hawks are a team that should be a playoff contender for many years, I just hope they fill some of the holes during the upcoming off season, and retain the players that need to be part of the future.

Thank you to everyone that has shown Atlanta support during the playoffs.

Congrats Hawks.

If Stu Jackson had suspended KG like he should have, you guys might be celebrating the second round right now. :noway:

You guys earned it. Good luck next year.

The Hawks made it the best series to watch in the first round. That's kinda cool.

Phoenix/Spurs - great player matchup but not close enough to be interesting past game 1 which was Wow.

Pistons/Sixers - not at all bad, but Philly never got that 3rd win to threaten.

Magic/Raptors - outcome never in doubt

Wiz/Cavs - there was some tension in this one, but like the 76ers/Pistons, there was no game 7. Not that exciting.

Nuggets/Lakers - ouch.

Mavs/Hornets - interesting series just cause I figured the Mavs had the experience and that should count for something. It didn't.

Jazz/Rockets, well, no Yao, the Rockets tried, but the outcome was never in doubt.

Now, as far as Boston's next opponants - Cleveland & Detroit or Orlando, I still figure the Celts are the favorites. They are 4-0 in their home court and sometimes a little competition is the best thing for a team.

I want them to lose, but I would be surprised if Cleveland can beat them.

Detroit or Orlando? Maybe, but I'd put my money on Boston against either of those teams too. I think Detroit has the best shot against them.
Go Knicks!! Go Mets!!

As for the Jets . . . just keep it entertaining.

Congrats Atlanta, a successful playoff and shattering the Celtics aura of invincibility.

Agreed. What was supposed to be a quick sweep turned into the best playoff series so far this year. Awesome work Atlanta; regroup and recharge (acquire a legitimate center and move Horford to his natural position), and kick off next season with a bang. Good luck! :D

If only we weren't complete garbage on the road. Oh well, didn't expect to win more than one game and I got to experience game 6 in person so overall this was a great time. We have no draft pick so it was playoffs or bust.
