I think either Theo, Sheed, Or Max are gone before any of ours goes.

There are a lot of thugs in that Pistons team, appropriately.

id like to say bogans because he looks so tough, but i think he's more concerned about staying the game to chuck more shots
Dwight Howard on his FT struggles:

I'm not sure, but I am excited about watching the series! The Toronto series was fun because the Magic dominated. But, this is what playoff basketball is all about. The Magic haven't had any "real" rivals for awhile. Miami makes the most sense, but neither team has been good at the same time. It seems like the rivarly with the Pistons has been building up for several years now. If the Magic make this series competetive, then it will just enhance the rivalry even more. If they lose in 4 or 5 games, we don't deserve to be considered one of the Pistons' rivals.

My thoughts on the first real scuffle...

I hope it's with Dwight and 'Sheed. It seems like the superstars get better treatment from the league. There's a better chance nothing would happen in terms of suspension (see Garnett). If it's Keyon or Theo, I could see suspensions coming down. The NBA wants to make expamples and "lay down the law," but not with players like Dwight, Kobe, Garnett, Lebron, ect.

Just my thoughts...

Seems like when I mentioned Dwight getting tossed the consensus was that I'm an idiot for thinking that could possibly happen. The reasoning to that is that Dwight is te on;y big we have out there and the Pistons have been taking turns roughing him up, it's only a matter of time till one loses his patinece and cool in those situations. We'll have to see who has that fire in their veins. I can Dooling jumping in in Dwight gets hacked, maybe even Lewis. Would love to have Gortat in when that happens though. Stans no stranger to rough play, he was Riley's assistant all those years when the Heat and Knicks playoff series all looked like Wrestlemania so i'm sure he'll know how to counter.

Guys, guys, guys!

Doesn't anybody see? We have to keep our composure. I'd like to submit for evidence the 1991 Chicago Bulls.

If you remember, the Bulls lost to the Pistons three straight years in the playoffs. But in '91, they finally beat them. And it was because they didn't let the Pistons' bullying phase them like they did in the past. They laughed and shrugged it off like it was nothing.

The Magic are almost like that '91 Chicago Bulls team. Yeah, I said it. You wanna fight about it? Anyway, this year we finally beat the Pistons in the playoffs, we shrug this bullying crap off and just play basketball.

And FYI, the Bulls began their dynasty with that first championship.

Those Bulls teams were pretty loaded and they did have this one guy.

I don't think there will be any proper fights, just verbal. Sheed has a big disadvantage there. He has already picked up 2 T's for yapping at another player. I would be willing to wager that the smack he talked was nowhere near as obscene as Garnett spews all game long without a second thought from the refs.

The easy choice = Sheed

IMO, letting Detroits rough play bother them tells me that Detroit is winning the mental game.

there are no thugs on the Pistons. there is just one hothead who had already cut down before he was traded here. don't assume just because its a Detroit Pistons team. not even saying that because its my team, but there may not be one thug, mostly due to Dumars filtering the players' behavior before he brings them in.

And believe it or not it will probably be Rip's scrawny ass trying to get into it with Dwight. probably the closest thing we have to a roach that gets under everyone's skin.

adonal foyle, he has been itching to get some action this postseason...i think we should just keep our cool and play ball, we dont need to get into any mind games with the pistons, they will win in that area..

Nobody from the Magic, I'd like to see anyone mess with Dwight. I bet he could kick anyone's ass in the NBA.
