It's been a very enjoyable series to this point. I'm glad this city has supported our Hawks the way they have and now it's time to fill the holes as needed.

Yep. The NBA is planned just like wrestling. They set up storylines, heels, faces, the whole 9 yards.

No, it's the Hawks. Like the playoff guarantee thing.

The Hawks getting 46 free throws in a bogus is alittle suspect. Don't forget that ref betting on games last year. We already know from then that the NBA isn't 100% legit.

Congrats on bringing this series to 7 games guys. I admit I didn't think much of the Hawks before the series, but they're gonna be seriously scary in the future, especially as guys like Josh Smith and Marvin Williams get more experience and confidence. It's actually a relief that the Celtics get to play the Cavs now.

I definitely didn't expect the Hawks to win, but I was hoping they'd come out and play their best road game. Instead we got one of the worst performances all year. Granted the Celtics were playing amazing defense, we just didn't show up today. Disappointing for the series to end that way, still a great acheivement to push it to 7 games.

The only good news that comes from this is that maybe Woodson isn't safe after all. It's inexcusable for a team to be like night and day depending on where they play. We went to Boston six times this year and not only did we lose all six, all six were blowouts.

I heard he went into movies

Anyway, great series guys. Most didn't give you guys a chance, but your boys fought hard. Hopefully, you guys can continue to improve. You definitely have a solid foundation. Best of luck.

Only you could spin a positive hawks postseason into something bad. You seriously need to change your name, because you obviously aren't a hawks fan.

Whoever the GM this summer needs to get in touch with Toronto and see if they will take Bibby/Marvin or Chillz for Calderon or Ford. Bibby gives them a good backup and a nice expring deal to go after FA's next summer, and Marvin or Chillz gives them a decent role player.

IDK about Ford. I thought we should have did that trade this time last year but i just get the feeling that Ford is going to be out of the league within a few years...especially after seeing all these hard fouls in the playoffs(some even harder than the one Horford gave him). I'm not sure he's going to last that long.

You guys don't want anything to do with Ford (and his injuries, and his contract), and Toronto most likely will not let Calder

As a Celtics fan, I want to express my gratitude to the Hawks who made this a great series.

Good arguments argued in the right spirit.

Josh and HMFFl in particular were your joint mvps.

On a team note, we don't want to play you guys again for the next few years - the Hawks have serious talent and a great future.

I don't see why they would do that for Calderon. He is young and a good pg. Yes they need a sf but I think they would rather trade Ford.

And with that being said, I don't want Ford. His injury history scares me. Our luck would be we would trade for him, he gets injured and it either on the shelf for a long time or has to retire.
