Does anybody know how we stack up money wise for free agency? If so, list some free agents we have a realistic shot at..we could use some depth..[/u]

His cousin gives you more at this stage. (Damon)

I'm not a fan of Damon Stoudamire, he's a worse version of Bibby.

Here are the guys I like

Diop- Perfect backup C for us. Can run the floor and would work well with our personnel. Another good shot blocker in the low post. He also gives us the chance to continue running with our backup C in the game, something we couldn't do with Zaza.

Eddie House/Jannero Pargo/Juan Carlos Navarro- We need a shooter. Well here they are.

JJ Barea- I know I might get ripped for this one. But I like him a lot, he's really quick and can do some nice things with a little more seasoning. I'm also assuming he'd be available for very cheap, someone we could fill out the roster nicely with.

Darrell Armstrong- An excellent leader that could really help the young guys develop.

Roger Mason- My favorite of the bunch. A great shooter that can spell either position in the backcourt.

Like everyone else, I would like for us to go after Diop. We are obviously in need of some quality big men. Brandon Bass is a good option too as a back up PF.

I think James Jones would be a good pick up too. He's purely a shooter and can open up the floor.

This one is a pipe dream but it would be sweet if we could get Corey Maggette. This is a bad lineup: Bibby/JJ/Maggette/Smith/Horford that's a freakishly athletic starting 5.

I love Bass. But I would be shocked if Dallas lets him go.

Damon can do everything that Bibby can do and he is more athletic, so he can atleast stay infront of his man on defense

i do like Armstrong.... i'm just not sure he can give you 70 games and +15min

Should have just kept T-Lue. He would have done better than Bibby and he's much better than Damon.

I believe james jones has a player option for next year.

We could also sign this guy as a cheap defensive big...

Lue wouldn't have done better than Bibby. That's just stupid. Even in the playoffs when Bibby was terrible, at least he could bring the ball up the court. Lue can't handle pressure when he brings the ball up because he is slow, has mediocre handles for a 5'10 pg, and is incredibly risk averse so he is more likely to inch forward until there is only 9 seconds left on the clock and then pass it off.

Bibby made countless terrible turnovers and missed a ton of open looks. For all Lue's faults, you can't accuse him of either of these. He sucks at running the offense, but our offense was just brutal in Boston. It honestly couldn't have gotten any worse.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not a Lue fan at all, this is more of me being down on Bibby.

I am right there with you. Bibby sucked. it is hard to imagine a pg playing worse.
