Duhon... no brainer for us.

I do think LB could net us more than just Salmons, though I absolutely love Salmons' game. The 12th pick?

Maybe just swap picks? That seems more reasonable. Throw in their 2nd rounder. Some cash for Sarver.

Okay... okay. Here it is.

Barbosa and #15 to SacTown for Salmons, #12 and Cash Considerations.

D'antoni and #12 to ChiTown for #9.

Sign Duhon. MLE?

Which gets us...

PG - Nash/Duhon
SG - Bell/Strawberry
SF - Hill/Salmons
PF - Stoudemire/Diaw
C - O'Neal/#9

I like that as well, but it won't happen. I also think we need a better starting 2-guard than Bell.

Just curious as to why you think it won't happen. Aside from being based off of assumptions and conjecture, I don't think this is unfair to either Chicago or Sacramento.

Wow jlove_26, some bad trade ideas and FA you want here. Please stop! Telfair, and Ricky Davis, are you kidding me?

However, I would like Artest here. I think you have to ship off Diaw for him. That gives us another defensive stopper and good offensive option. bring hill off the bench.

Personally, I think they try to bring in Duhon, but will try low ball him and he won't come. I really don't see them trading the pick (hope not, we need youth!) and Diaw and LB.

How was the ONE and only trade I proposed a bad trades idea? Diaw, Bell, Barbosa and 15 for Salmons (who we wanted and is a great talent), Artest (who is a great defender and shooter...and hasn't lost a step ala Bell) and Udrih (who is a great up and coming PG) a bad trade for the Suns?

Yes, I think outside the box as far as players in the league that would work well in the Suns system with Nash and Amare. I also said to go after Duhon and Smith as well. If we were able to get Duhon AND Udrih, and with as much as I love what he has done for the Suns and this city, I would consider trading Nash to deepen our roster, especially now that it looks as if we are going to be getting a new coach.

^I'd rather Garcia than Salmons. Better player in the minutes he'd be given, younger, better 3 point shot, tougher. He has a lot of Bell in him...

With the new generation of dominant PGs like Paul, Williams and Davis in the West, we actually could use Banks type of strong defender for the long run. Lowry would look great in that role. Who else? Is JJack quick and strong enough?

Garcia is not FA, too bad.:)
