Jordan at 23: 37.1/5.2/4.6/2.9/1.5/48.2%/85.7%, 56.2% TS, 3.3 TO, 29.8 PER; 95.8 pace (23rd of 23)
Lebron at 23: 30.0/7.9/7.2/1.8/1.1/48.4%/71.2%, 56.8% TS, 3.4 TO, 29.1 PER; 90.2 pace (22nd of 30)
Jordan was in his 3rd year, although he lost almost the entire 2nd year due to injury; Lebron is now in his 5th year.
I think I'd give a slight edge to Jordan. Comparable percentages, but much higher volume scoring, even accounting for pace. Lebron has a significant edge in rebounding and assists, but a much weaker defender.
The next three seasons, however, is where Jordan truly broke out (statistically) instead of focusing on just volume scoring, and I'll be very impressed if Lebron can come close to that.
