Who else is hoping for a Hornets vs. Lakers WCF...

Post#1 » by Pancho_Pantera » Tue May 6, 2008 4:18 am

I want this match up for the WCF.

It would be amazing to see Chris Paul completely destroy the Lakers. Both him and Kobe had terrific years but I think Paul deserved the award a little bit more than Kobe, or they should have done a co-mvp. I hope this motivates Paul to average 40/16/13 in a sweep against the Lakers.

*raises hand*

CP3 vs. Kobe, these two have had amazing playoffs so far. Still there's a lot of basketball left to play.

It would be pretty funny. Chris Paul is like Kobe, except that he's faster, and less selfish. Chris Paul could score like Kobe, but he has the sense not to, winning is his priority.

Yea, if you make him go like... 2-10, for 10 points, we can never win.

oh wait....

Paul is great

But Kobe is something else.

Would you bet against Kobe?

Doesn't matter what the series is. Lakers are gonna advance. I have yet to see any type of weakness in LA other than the fact that they slack defensively sometimes when they start to play well. But they have the ability to recover in those instances as well.

I wonder what kind of emotions will go through Bryon Scott having to coach a team to beat his previous team, because he has purple and gold at heart.

It will definitely be a fun matchup. I think hornets would prefer lakers than utah... some reason utah is like their kryptonite... they just have a hard time with them more then any other team in terms of talent

We don't have playoff experience to beat anyone, I doubt we win 1 game in Dallas.

The Lakers are good but you people are fools if you think it's a foregone conclusion that they'd win. This Hornets team is for real.

I'm hoping for this match-up, and I think it's a great rivalry in the making.
