Duncan is NOT better than Kobe, he's been more successful yes(better supporting cast).

AI is way too high. Lebron has done more than him already.

you really have ray allen, vince carter and chris webber ahead of dirk nowitzki...

gotta go with:
1. duncan
2. o'neal
3. bryant
4. garnett
5. nowitzki
6. james
7. nash
8. iverson
9. mcgrady
10. allen/ ming/ stoudamire

not sure about shaq and kobe cause shaq is on decline for the last few years. you can turn that around as soon as kobe wins a chip as the team leader.

Well Pierce should be ahead of Ray Allen and i think Pierce is just outside the top 10 so Ray shouldnt be there. Id also have Pierce either ahead of Vince or tied with him since they have pretty even career numbers but PP has been more durable. He has also attempted 1500 more FT's than Vince in just 35 more games, which is crazy if you think about it. Vince has been the bigger "star" because of the dunk contests and his athleticism but they are as even as players get results wise. My top 10 would be

Shaq
Duncan
Kobe
KG
Lebron
Iverson
Dirk
Nash
Kidd
T-Mac
Pierce/Vince

Id have Wade in there but he has just missed too many games.

Most of the guys on that list don't matter.

Duncan
Shaq

The decade has belonged to them. Different casts, different supporting players, whatever - they've won 7/8 titles.

Good list. Duncan and O'Neal can flip though, but that would be nitpicking.

Kidd is pretty sad now, but he belongs on the list for what he did earlier in this decade. Ditto Webber.

Wade already has a better resume than a lot of guys being put ahead of him..Dirk looks to be too high on too many lists.

Nash has to go WAYYYYY above the likes of Ray Allen, that's just a joke . . . Iverson is too high if you are talking anything but hype.

Just for reference, that "top 10" list in MVP shares including 99-00 but not including this year would go . . . when they announce this year's award expect Kobe to add somewhere near 1.0 and LeBron and Garnett about .33 (not added into scores) which would make the list

1. Tim Duncan 3.427
2. Shaquille O'Neal 3.427
4. Kevin Garnett 2.212
6. Kobe Bryant 1.468
3. Steve Nash 2.368
5. Dirk Nowitski 1.656
7. Allen iverson 1.296
8. LeBron James 0.774
9. Tracy McGrady 0.841
10. Jason Kidd 0.788

Webber, Allen, Carter, and Wade are well below these 10. for the record, I'd rank LeBron 5th, just ahead of Nash despite Nash's two MVPs but he is still young and getting started with less years than the others.

Manu?

Tim Duncan
Shaquille O'Neal
Kevin Garnett
Dirk Nowitzki / Kobe Bryant
Jason Kidd
Tracy McGrady
Chris Webber
Allen Iverson
Vince Carter / Ray Allen

Too early to judge Lebron or Wade, maybe next year they get injured and can't play never again.

I agree with this. I mean Duncan and Shaq are 1 and 2 in any order, then Kobe by himself 3rd, then AI, Kidd and KG in a any order next. Then the rest in any order.
