I hope LeBron destroys the Celtics. I kinda hate how KG and co. did throat slash gestures and the Boston fairweather fans acted like they've won 8 straight championships. I mean they merely beat the 8th seeded Hawks. At least be humble about your victory. Jeez...

Yeah, we beat them 4 times, by margins of 19, 23, 25 and 34 points. We just had problems on the road, as we took the too lightly.

All teams get caught up in the moment and why shouldn't they? I think the Hawks players acted just as bad in their wins.

So 1 year of good Boston Defense = Championship Caliber??

And Im ignorant??

You guys were missing the reason I posted that. The guy said Sam Cassell is better than Daniel Gibson........why dont we address that ignorance first

At what, defense ??

Gibson is a better defender and pure shooter than Cassell.. However, Cassell is superior at getting off mid range shots, drawing contact and posting up...

Problem with Cassell is he takes poor shots from time to time, and that can kill the flow of any good offense during critical stretches...

i think game 2 is kind of big. i dont want to keep falling in these 0-2 holes after losing two very winnable games on the road and be forced to win 4 out of 5 games (i know we did it last year against the pistons and almost did it the year before, but its just a bad trend).

Especially considering that the Celtics were the ones everyone was laughing at (and still are) for being in that situation. Atlanta exceeded everyone's expectations. Boston basically made themselves a laughingstock. There's simply no excuse for a 66 win team to be taken to 7 games against a 37 win team. None.

The supposed "message" they sent in game 7 was a whisper. They sent a far louder message in games 4 and 6 in the Atlanta series.

We aren't fairweather fans at all.
Assuming you've never been to Boston.
It isn't our fault we're the best city for every sport that matters.

Fans don't show up to most team's games when they're losing.
The Garden still had a great attendance when we were in the dumps.
No matter which city a team plays in there will be a bandwagon of casual game watchers.
No city can avoid that.

I disagree, BB..

The last couple years the Cavs have fallen behind 2-0 to start a series, only to use HC to their advantage, and proceeded to carry that momentum over to a game 5 road victory...

I can envision the same type of scenario playing out...

L&H_05 wrote:Like I said in the other thread the other day, this series is going to go like the Detroit one last season...

We're gonna lose a couple close ones in Boston in the first two games, tie it up at home, and the main game in this series is game 5... That's the roadie that is the must win game..Cause I don't see how Boston beats us at home, so IMO the swing game is the 5th one...

Okay, so I was wrong about game 2.. Thought it would be closer than what it was... But, losing Ben and changing our entire defensive rotation didn't help that game...

Nonetheless... We're right on schedule, fellas...Image

LeBron is doing exactly what KG could never do in Minny. I hope the Cavs win this series, because LeBron deserves a ring more than KG ever did.

KG played in the West, winning a championship would be what KG never did and for the record LeBron is the better of the two but you couldnt go wrong with either
