Sam Cassell killed ubunto

Post#1 » by GonzoLays » Wed May 7, 2008 1:43 am

...sorry to whomever I stole that line from. But hell, is there any doubt of this? The guy pounds the hell out of the ball. What happened to Cassell's game? He's not even hitting his jumpshots. Every four games or so, he reminds you why you should play him, but ****, he can't even put two good games back to back.

Cassell is choking like a big dog.

this is true

he just dribbles until he has a shot, and when he dribbles and doesnt have a shot, he shoots anyways

the greatthing about eddie house was he kept the ball moving, rarley over dribbled, and got to an open spot on the floor and knocked down shots

When he is hitting his shots he is great. When he isn't he isn't doing us much good. So yeah, ubuntu isn't in full effect with him in for sure.

Yeah who was the person that typed that. It's sad that Cassell is our only other ball handler that we can rely on off the bench.

Rondo has to sit sometime or he'll be tired and a slow Rondo is a bad Rondo.

Eddie House was a catch and shoot guy so when he was feeling it he was much more effective. I really don't like what I see when Cassell is on the floor.

Killed Ubunutu, won the game however.

I'll take selfish winning over shared losing any day.

23 turnovers, Allen 0 points, Pierce 4, and we win?

Good thread.

We needed a shooter tonight as PP and Ray lost their shots on the way to the Arena.

He really doesn't play within the offense, but as long as he hits the shots ubuntu can kiss my ass.

lets see. He was a HUGE factor in this game and also the game in San Antonio. He's good as long as he doesn't turn the ball over and hits his shots. The team likes him... so what's the problem? They are a better team with him

I am just laughing my ubunto off at that statement. What Sam Cassell have you seen for the last two decades? His game, that is exactly his game.

He pounds the ball, backs his man down, and he makes and takes big shots and mixes in the occasional flop.

On April 28, I wrote here that Sam I Am Me's style destroyed Ubuntu.

http://www.realgm.com/boards/viewtopic. ... highlight=

I had previously said that Sam was not Ubuntu.

Nice game by Sam in some respects, but the 10 point lead the starters built up disappeared in the 2nd quarter tonight with Sam and his crew, and the Celtics were actually trailing, until Rondo came back in.

Sam was a +3 and Rondo a -1. Rondo subbed for Sam after the flagrant foul Boston had a 5 point lead.

The beauty of Sam I Am is that there are periods where the C's can't score and nothing is working and they cannot do half court sets if their life depended on it..... In comes Sam and just let him do his thing and maybe we get out of neutral and get some momentum going. We need thar once in a while.
