Going After..............Andre Miller?

Post#1 » by Bac2Basics » Wed May 7, 2008 7:07 pm

If Andre Miller was available, how much sense would it make for the Kings to go after him?

Would this trade make sense for either/both teams

Philly's not going to shake things up like that, and I don't really see what it does for us, as a whole.

I really like Miller and would be a nice short-term solution until the young guy is ready, though.

Thaddeus Young quite possibly will turn into a three, and Carney may stay, and Iguodala is already there. So not sure if there'd be an interest in Artest.

Ehh, I mean he's a very nice player, but well, I guess talking about whether or not he would be a good fit is kind of moot, because I really don't see Philly doing it. Miller is arguably their most important (but not best) player.

I really like andre miller but that trade doesn't make much sense to me either way. Philly had a better season then expected and a lot of that had to do with andre miller distributing the ball. The trade leaves them without a true point guard and I would think they would want to build around carney and iguadala and having Ron would not let that happen.
For Sac I think thats giving up to much. Adding those guys would be for winning now and a linup of
pg-miller
sg-martin
sf-cisco
pf-hawes
C-miller
doesn't make us much better if better at all.

Rather just trade for TJ Ford.

Philly and the Kings are terrible trading partners.

I think that has been proven correct a time or two.

I was suggesting this with the idea in mind that for whatever reason the TJ Ford idea falls through.

I dont think its likely we get Miller or Ford. Like someone else said the 76ers wont be trading Miller and they have a great young nucleus and cap space to add a couple pieces to really be competetive next year.

As for Ford are you guys serious...he is a hard foul from being out of the league or even possibly in a wheelchair. Lets just stick with Beno and roll with it. The draft will work out good for us and in 2 years we will have cap space and hopefully make a run at some quality player(s)
