I think the Bill Cartwright suggestion is an intirguing one.

Doesn't Cartwright currently have a job somewhere? I do like the idea of him from 2 reasons: he can work with the bigs AND he would bring his experience as a head coach to the bench. But with the coaching changes so far this summer, I would not be surprised if he is throwing his name out for an open vacancy for a head coaching position.
This space needs to be filled with a new sig...but I'm too lazy to make one.

My Vote Goes To Jack Sikma

Spencer: So coach, do you have any pointers?

Walton: Spencer Hawes--some of the most impressive post moves in this or any lifetime, followed by a finishing hook that would make Wilt himself tremble!

Spencer: .....'kay, so is my release high enough on it, or...

Walton: Look at the yearning for knowledge! The incredible youthful spirit from this remarkable human being!

Must be true, if it's a rumor you read on Hoopshype.

OK guys, what you don't understand is that Kareem doesn't have a coaching position with the Lakers and he has said he wants to coach. So it's not far fetched for him to take an asst. coach job if offered one.

Also, I forgot a name........Moses Malone, the man who taught Hakeem.
