Man, that's crazy. I thought he'd never step down. I'm glad he's gone though. Now, it's just time for Woodson to follow his friend's path, OUT OF HERE.
GO HAWKS.

Could hire Jon Barry. he said earlier on 680 he wouldn't mind becoming a GM (before BK resigned).

Do you guys ever think of Lenny Wilkens, and how he got rid of 'Nique?

What makes Barry a candidate other than he can run his mouth. I'd rather see Steve Smith get it way before Barry.

What's with the July 1 date, though? I know there are no picks right now, but shouldn't we have a new GM in tow by mid-June just in case there are some draft day deals (that we wouldn't want screwed up)?

This makes any Marvin trade a lot more likely.

Feels like winning game 6 all over again.

damn sure does this is a great move by the hawks

it was time for knight to go! now the hawks can focus on hiring someone who actually knows what the hell they're doing!!! knight made numerous blunders, but it was so great to see this hawks team coalesce and push the beantown beyotches to a game seven.

It's when his contract ends, so it was kind of moot. ASG did have a 1 year option on BK, but weren't going to pick it up. This is just BK's public recognition that it's over.
