Harper wasn't robbed of much, he had about 8-9 years of all-star play. In fact he was still quite athletic when he played for the Bulls. He was asked to be a role player more than being forced to. He was still capable of at least 15ppg at that late stage of his career, but when your teammates are Jordan and Pippen (and Kukoc) you aren't going to be scoring much. The year before he joined the Bulls he was averaging 20.1ppg 6.1rpg 4.6apg 1.92spg in 75 games (93-94). In 94-95 he averaged 6.9ppg (77 games). No sign of an injury robbing him in his transition to role-player. The year he missed a lot was 89-90 when he only played 7 games. His stats didn't really change though after that.

He lost a lot of speed, mobility and hops.
89-90 he played 7 games for Cleveland averaging 22/7/7 before the trade then he played 28 games for the Clips. He was approaching his prime years and suddenly went down. He reinvented himself but he was never the player he was before the injury.
When he was on Cleveland he was on a very deep team. He wasn't going to post superstar number while sharing the scoring with Price, Daugherty and Nance.

Ron Harper turned himself into a great defender that could score if left one on one. He is the reason why Phil Jax prefers taller guards at the PG position.
PG Harper
SG MJ
SF Pippen
PF Rodman
C Longley
That was one athletic/defensive team......
Absolutely....many people underestimated this guy here in bold. He's one of the reasons why I wish they had done more to have kept the 1994 Bulls team together.
