So, everything is perfect, right? No need for any discussion on this board, for any negative comment...

I am tired of posters bringing up our record as a counter-argument for everything.

There are things in certain games that are just not good and I think it is nice if we can talk about them and have an argumentative discussion. The whole point of this is that we still need to get better in some areas to be able to win a title at the end of the year. And that includes Doc making better in game decisions.

And I'm tired of people like you who bitch and moan and bellyache when Doc leads us to 24-58, and then the next season when we go 66-16, you STILL bitch and moan and complain.

What the **** does it take to make you people happy?

If you love 24-58 teams so much, become a **** Grizzlies fan or something and **** on off of this board.

Seriously, you guys are the **** Democrats of this message board....miserable and complaining when things are going bad and EVEN WORSE when they're good because then it invalidates your continual bitching.

No one is saying Doc isn't perfect, but you **** must all wear tinfoil hats...is it Doc's fault your girlfriend dumped you or your dog got run over or you lost your job? Y'all probably think so!
It's still 17 to 11!!!!

Wow, you are really having a bad day, don`t you? I think we are all loving this season, I know I do. I love this team and no matter what our record is I will support it. But that doesn`t mean that if our record is terrible that everything is bad and vice versa.

I have never been a fan of Doc Rivers obviously but I give him a lot of credit for how this team has played thus far. Still, his game management needs to get better in order for us to win a ring.

I am a big optimist in life and I believe we can win a title this season but in order to do so, some things need to improve. And discussing these things on this board doesn`t mean that we are miserable it means that we care about this team and that we want this team to develop and get better.

^^Alright, fair enough. I agree we should be able to talk about it. I am just tired of people complaining, for instance, AFTER WE WIN A GAME, such as game 1. Instead of saying "wow what an ugly game, this is what we should do better, etc" it's all "Doc sucks, kill Doc, fire Doc, burn Doc, blah blah blah"

I can totally accept some people don't like Doc. But the irrational hatred of all things Doc on this board by some posters (not you, but others) is downright stupid.

Well, it is not just about Doc sucks threads. We have a Ray Allen sucks thread every week also. Whenever someone has a bad game or does something wrong there are posts about it, I know Perk got a lot of heat during one part of the season. But that is just the way massage boards are. I know I post some "harsh" things during games when things aren`t going well because I am frustrated and mad.

I agree, of course, that threads like Doc sucks or Ray sucks aren`t productive but that doesn`t mean that a negative thread which is supported by arguments should simply be shot down by posting our record and the poster accused of being a hater.

thebirdman, of course Doc Rivers needs to get better and he makes mistakes just like KG, Pierce, Ray Allen and everyone else.

It's the stupid posts of Fire Doc, Doc needs to go, Celtics can't win with Doc, Doc Rivers is the reason why they lose and has nothing to do with when they win that I am talking about.

The man has lead the Celtics to a 71-19 record. Yes he makes mistakes and yes you can 2nd guess some decisions but the man is doing a great job of leading this team.

Sorry Doc haters but he is doing a GREAT job.

That's what I was saying...it goes beyond "Doc could have done this rotation better, etc" to "Kill Doc, Fire Doc, Burn Doc, blah blah"

And of course when we win, Doc gets no credit, and when we lose, he takes all the blame. Can't have it both ways. If he's so responsible as to be personally liable for the losses, then he must get the credit for the wins, too.

But as I've said before, the haters are irrational (most of them)

The difference is that Doc makes the same mistakes every season, sure Ray isnt playing well but I can expect him to come out of his slump.

The only thing Doc does great is keep the team together which dont get me wrong is HUGE but the rotation problems in the playoffs will KILL you as we saw in the ATL series and in game 1 against CLE

Sorry Doc lovers but Id rather see him do his "GREAT" job somewhere else

I'd like to know what rotation problems the C's had in game 1. Please enlighten us, Sir Genius Master of Rotations.

I thought Doc did a good job with rotations. He appeased the 'Tony for defensive player of the year' people by giving TA 5 minutes of burn. He killed two birds with one stone by letting Rondo have just a good enough game to please the Rondo superfans, while playing Cassell much of the second half, pleasing the Rondo haters and avoiding the wrath of the 'Doc is always wrongers' who surely would have skewered Doc for replacing Cassell with Rondo if the C's had lost.

I would have thought the only people who have a gripe with Doc after game 1 are in the 'Free Eddie House' crew.

But I forgot about Mr. Playoff Rotations Nostradamus. It is almost impossible for Doc to satisfy this guy as he can always imagine (or even play on his video games) a rotation that is better than the one Doc put out there. Wait, Sam Cassell just missed a shot? Let Mr. Playoff Rotations Nostradamus look into his crystal ball....ahhh yes, Eddie House would have hit that shot. How could Doc not know this? I bet Tom Thibodeau would have known it. Time to go start another thread about this....

Spot on.

Pisses me off how credit always goes to Thibs but blame goes to Doc. Methinks some people on this board have obsessive/compulsive mancrushes on the Thibs.
It's still 17 to 11!!!!
