You know I was wondering what it was. You are exactly right. Thats exactly why there is so many CP outrageous threads. And these people call themselves basketball fans.

lol

Maybe they can hold Kobe to under 40

Maybe

Who will guard CP? Fisher? Farmer? Vujacic? Please

They seem to be doing a good enough job against Deron Williams.........

Is there a better defender for Pau than Chandler?

Thats what Nuggets fans were saying about Camby.......who is a better defender than Chandler.

Camby is a better shot blocker than Tyson. Thats where it ends. Better defender? I think not.

Camby has more selections to the all defensive teams and is a better rebounder and shot blocker than Chandler.

Camby also has a defensive player of the year award. Chandler does not.

Although Chandler is a great man defender, Pau Gasol will still get his considering that most of Gasol's scores are on interior passes where Pau's man goes to help.

Pau is no doubt tough, but the fact that the Nuggets were using their best post defender (Kenyon) to guard a perimeter player is what really did them in.

Camby cheats and gets a lot of weak/help side blocks. He can't bang in the post whatsoever and rarely gets blocks on guys he's actually guarding.

But, by Vincent's logic, Camby is clearly a better defender than Chandler. He's also waaaaay better than Duncan too, apparently.

ummmm.....the...lakers.....havent....lost.....yet..........not one game....

The hornets lost a game to the mavs, and had some really close games vs them to. The lakers wouldnt have lost a game to them.

By the way the lakers blew out the hornets at home wihtout gasol or bynum earlier this season. I dont see the hornets having a chance. To be honest, i would be more worried about the Spurs getting to the WCF and using there experience and leadership and not lose. The hornets, god, no....give me a break. who will guard kobe?!??

Lakers do bad against teams with good defenders on Kobe. Watch.

Lakers always hav bad games against...Kings, Rockets, Spurs, Suns. If we dont play one of those we are in great shape.

All I said is that match ups are very reasonable to NO. I am not saying NO is a favourite.

Pau has quick arms and is a very smart player, he is just not going to have the advantage over Chanler that he has over Okur, Okur just cannot guard him, he can do whatever he wants.

From matchups I see no great advantage for Lakers, I see NO as having some advantage.

Utah is a more complicated to NO. From NO perspective I would rather see Lakers if they can make it to WCF.

I'm gonna expand what Vincent 666 started.

Yeah, let's go for 82 this time!

Chris Paul is amazing, but so is Deron Williams and...

bbfan_1 wrote:Is there a better defender for Pau than Chandler?

er... yes. and Pau might not be KG, but he's one of the hardest players to shut down.

I would take West over Odum, but Odom over West.

bbfan_1 wrote:Peja vs Radmanovic, can you imagine Lakers if they could trade Radman for Peja.

Frankly, I don't see that huge difference.

bbfan_1 wrote:HCA for Lakers is not to be under-estimated but not a definite advantage.

Would be a fun series for sure.

See, we agree there!

Hornets bench will have to step it up even another notch if they make it past the Spurs. The one thing the Hornets have going is Peja is lights out @ the Staples Center. I think this year is destined to be the Lakers year though.

Peja has choked in the Staples Center in the playoffs numerous times.

Would be fun to cross check refs that officiated that game 7 with their bookies, I have never seen so blatantly unfair officiating as LA games of WCF 2001-2002 season.
