Is Chris Paul the greatest ever?

Post#1 » by skagen » Thu May 8, 2008 5:44 pm

Has Chris Paul supplanted MJ on the Throne of Basketball? He's beating the spurs single handedly without a scottie pippen caliber running mate. Taking into consideration his size and the impact he has on the game, there shouldn't be any doubt that he's the greatest player ever. He can score at will, set up others to score at will, and gets steals at an amazing rate. He's also unstoppable when he drives and makes all his jump shots and tear drops. Jordan never made tear drops. Is there anymore doubts that marvin williams ahead of CP3 has now surpassed bowie/jordan as the biggest draft mistake of all time? CP3 is only 22 as well. I think he's gonna make a run at russells ring total.

Can't argue with Paul's multiple MVPs, Finals MVPs, championship rings, scoring titles, all-star appearances, his international fame, etc.

So in short, yes.

Yea, I heard he had a cure for cancer, a way to reduce gas prices and fix the US economy. After that he will turn his attention to peace in the Middle East and global warming. So yes, he is the greatest ever.

Beat the Spurs single-handedly?

Umm... West, Chandler, Peja, Bonzi, and Pargo would all strongly disagree.

Why don't you hop off of Paul's dizick for a minute kiddo. haha. Like Jordan he elevates his teammates games. In hypothetical land (where you're obviously from),had a guy like West been beside Jordan in place of Pippen, West would be a Hall of Famer as well.

Have you not learned yet that there are no guarantees in life? There are way too many variables to consider when predicting an athletes future.
Why not just sit back, relax and enjoy the ride for what it's worth. If not just call up Cleo the psychic and keep up posted.

He isn't even close to Magic, and you talk about him. If you say otherwise, then you never seen Magic play. Please....

Enough of this. Aren't there enough Paul threads around already? Paul doesn't need to be forced down people's throats on message boards. Is this a ploy to draw the Paul haters out of the woodwork?

He's having the greatest season ever by a point guard statistically. If he keeps this up for the rest of his career I would have absolutely no problem calling him the best point guard ever and the best player under 6'3" ever.

Chris Paul is the last dragon, he possesses the power of the glow.
